Super impressed today.

Agree, Halton was right in the middle on that goal line stand.

I think we upgraded our interior. He looks like a beast. He's quick and explosive and shoots the gaps and has a nose for the ball. Just a really good player.

I said the same, but makes me wonder why he wasn't considered above Collins to begin with? Oh well, he looked good. We need West to step up so we can keep this kid fresh later in the season.

He was considered over Collins if the preseason is any indication. Halton played early in games while Collins played well into the second halves.

I hope Collins can come back from that injury. I read that it's not something simple to come back from and can be a career ender in some cases. CJ West also has to continue to develop. That Middle with Halton looks good, but lack of depth scares me - specailly with that darn electrical substation nearby.

Now just waiting to see if Tonges and Stribling have been the chosen ones to be sacrificed to the football injury gods this season.
Halton is already making an impact on the field. He keeps winning reps against the run and pass.

BEAST!
This kid is a FREAKING BEAST
Another good game
A lot to work with here. Flashing a lot especially for a mid round pick. Could be a steal.
If a rookie 4th rounder is giving you meaningful snaps and producing even at an average NFL level, that is a home run. Hopefully he keeps it up

Another very good game. Dare I say dominant? Dare I proclaim that he looks like a 4th round draft STEAL? Dare I?

He's looked fantastic so far. From stopping the run to actually providing a pass rush up the middle. It appears he can do it all, and do it all very well.
His a DAWG!!

Exactly, if he is a quality rotational piece - great draft pick. Anything more is just gravy.

He's flashing more than Odighizuwa it seems!

wtf? lol osa is really good and far from the problem. Bosa & Osa are a really nice half to our d line.

the issue is the Collins/West position and Mykel being out and White being a full time starter. White should be a rotational piece (Mykel will take his spot). Now we just need to find a full time piece to West and have Halton rotate with him.

we need to make a trade but it probably won't happen for 5 or so more weeks.
Stud. Gracen's early flashes are exciting. I don't want to get a ahead of myself because I loved the pick, but this guy has big time potential. He could very well become the best pass rusher this regime has drafted since Bosa.

His run defense has been surprisingly very good. I remember him showing up his pro day bigger than expected and maintaining his athleticism. It shows on the field. With how bad CJ West is right now, Gracen Halton should be starting next to Osa.

This play perfectly highlights the difference in play right now between Halton and West(they're next to each other). One guy fires off the ball, uses his hands and gets off the block. The other guy doesn't.

You are the only one who mentioned the word problem. I think Osa has been really good but the flash plays seem to be coming from Gracen at least early on in the season.
