Complete garbage. How about focusing on winning the Division and focusing on keeping players healthy. I can't believe ownership would even agree to this. Like the greedy ass league can't be happy enough with all the $$$ they rape fans of as it already is, that's not good enough, they want to start ripping fans off on other continents too. The travel time is absolutely horrendous on the players, the risk to both teams is ridiculous and it doesn't just effect the game that week, it effects the game the following week as well. I can't believe owners agree to this b******t even with the money it might generate. It just shows that it's not about the players and the game, it's solely about the money. Unfortunately it's going to take something like a plane crash or something happening to players outside of normal football related activities to make them regret it.

It's great for the fans in those countries and I think it's awesome that they get to see games and get to see the teams but it should be preseason or exhibition games then and it shouldn't effect regular season records of any team.

There will be a lot of red in the crowd and it will sell out very quickly.

Very exciting to to see my team play here and beat the rams.

You will need binoculars to watch it at the MCG since it is oval shaped. These type of stadiums were phased out for NFL and now they want to bring an international game back to one? There are a few much stadiums better in Oz for the gridiron but hold less fans and will make less $$$$.

But who cares because this will be a real "home game" like atmosphere. We will get the niner chants roaring. It will be amazing.

Not Cool, as the NFL Schedule Makers have not been kind to the 49ers, as it pertains to the team' rest during the regular season.
Coming off of, or heading into: SNF, MNF, & TNF Games over the past seasons, the Niners have been one of the least rested in
the league. West Coast teams are already at a disadvantage versus Eastern teams, when it comes to travelling.
Hopefully they don't schedule a Thursday night game the next week. If they do the Niners should boycott the game.

Are we getting a bye the following week? That length of that trip is no game and the change in sleep patterns is going to effect them.
When the Chiefs/Chargers played in Brazil it was the first week of the season on 9/5 and their next game was on 9/14
