Biggest team flaws

Personnel management is the biggest problem BY FAR on this team. You can do all the fancy shifts and motions you want (Shany). If you don't know how to draft (bust after bust in the early rounds), free agency, extension contracts (Aiyuk... ), trades (Trey Lance... ) none of it matters. That's the most important thing of team building and we don't have it with Shany/Lynch. In fact we are very sub par there by league wide average. Nowhere near the elite groups like Howie Roseman.

Howie Roseman's team just lost to ours last week…

Biggest flaw is Macdonald is the HC of Seattle. Something we have no control over. Look up Purdy's stats against a Mike Macdonald coached defense. It's not great.

That's more Kyle's stats than Purdy. It's a scheme:personnel problem

ah yes, because the eagles lost this means the fact that they drafted extremely well is not important. sometimes I love this place.
Whatever is causing injuries…that.

Need speed on offense. RB, WR, and TE. CMC is a step slower, Rickie is not available, Kittle mostly not available.

Need to be bigger and quicker on D-line. Still getting pushed around, especially on the edges. No pressure with 4 rushing.

Need speed at LB position. Outside of Warner, the LBs are very slow.

Need another fast cover safety. Mustafa can't cover TEs, that's a big problem. Sigle is improving.

You left off the biggest and if we had everything on you list above we still wouldn't win it all until we fix this o line. Against great Defense we will never control the line of scrimmage we are to small and weak on the inside . Trent is a great player but with his age he's not going to make it thru the whole season with out missing games.

They literally WON the SUPER BOWL multiple times since he has been there. This is not a 1 year evaluation...

Our front office is indeed our biggest weakness. They pick the players, negotiate the contracts. How can anyone ignore the failures that led us to our current state? Salary cap woes? Debo? BA? Ignoring ol, reaching and missing big on draft picks. How many players are we paying that are playing for another team? Before people get overly emotional, let me be clear. Kyle is the best coach for this team. I have no issue with him. The GM however has failed us. If Kyle is the one making all the calls then it's time he focuses on mostly coaching. Either way we need a new GM. The blunders came home to roost. This team is not in a good place. Holes all around with no real way of filling them. Cant afford much in FA and a poor drafting record does not inspire confidence. Running it back and hoping is not a winning strategy. Time for a shake up and lynch is the guy that should fall on the sword.

There are a lot of good points there.

I wouldn't say 0 impact. Mustapha running himself out of running lanes and not even being near the gap had a pretty big impact

Which leads right back to DRAFTING and PLAYER PERSONNEL management.
-Drafting for need in the higher rounds
-Keeping players past their prime
-Big extensions for receivers
-Ignoring the O-line over and over
-Ignoring the rookies on offense
-Playing soft zone when our corners are better suited for man coverage

Our front office (Lynch + Shanahan) makes way too many emotional decisions about the players they want to keep/extend (35 yr/old Juszczyk still on the team come on) because it seems that they get attached to some players and ignore everyone else (CMC is washed as a RB but he gets 95% of the carries) and they never have a plan for the inmediate future.

I know Shanahan won't go anywhere anytime soon and I know that he won't change so this is an issue that is impossible to fix.
