SHOW me a highlight were Dan and Jim were scrambling around while unleashing a 61 yarder?

Show me a highlight reel where Marino moved!

Wow, 4 steps! No wonder they called him Mobile Marino!

To be fair, Marino has 301 more yards rushing in the NFL than you do :)

Not sure what scrambling has to do with arm strength anyway lol? I mean that's what we're talking about. Guys like Marino/Farve/Elway/Stafford can just flick their wrist and a ball goes. There's a difference with that and someone having to get like 3 hitches in to toss it downfield.

Marino (who I loved watching) rushed for a career total in the NFL of 87 yards. That is 0.3 yards per game!

You are right, dyslexia hits again :)

I remember 1984 when the 49ers were the first team to make him uncomfortable in the Super Bowl.

To be fair he did move a lot but it was usually just a step or two before he threw the ball.
Sounds like he is getting a lot of praise from niner media, if he lives up to all that hype and is more durable than pearsall, maybe he'll overshadow pearsall this season.

I'm glad he and Cowing are getting buzz. We need all our young guys to step up but I don't think it has to come at the expense of Pearsall.

Ricky is still the more proven guy in the NFL from all our year 2/rookies at WR. Though I don't know if Ricky would ever be an X out there. Don't know if Cowing or Watkins are either but there is room for all 3 to be great. Especially with JJ going into the last year of his deal and Aiyuk looking to push his way out at some point.

"durable" ... You know he only missed games for being shot right?

Yeah man, I was about to ask him the same thing. Pearsall only missed one game his entire college career, he's very durable. Just not bullet proof.

I mean one of his draft positives was durability and toughness lol

If only Pearsall were Wolverine, he would've played all 17 games and beat up the robber.
Everything I'm hearing the WRs on the 53 for game 1 are looking like Jennings, Pearsall, Cowings, Watkins, Bergen

If we can get Jacob Cowing, & Jordan Watkins going, with a healthy Jauan Jennings & Ricky Pearsall, the 49ers receiving/passing could be awesome, on top of also have a healthy CMC, & Kittle, the 49ers offense could be a huge threat to opposing defenses, just need TW to stay healthy, Puni keeps playing like he has, McKivitz keeps improving, hopefully Ben Bartch or Connor Colby wins the LG spot, leaving Jake Brendel the only OL to worry about, also with Juice back, the run game should be back to dominance, Guerendo & James should be the teams' 2nd & 3rd RBs.

Idk about anyone else, but I'm super excited for the 2025 season, can't wait for late July, & August to see the ypiung guys like Watkins, Cowing, James, Guerendo, and of course our defensive picks, if Williams, Collins, & West start like they should plus Martin, & Stout carving out roles, with a healthy Bosa, DMo, & Huff, this team could be a surprise team, I think ST is even upgraded, Morstead, Weeks, Gifford, Surratt, Pinnock are all solid ST pickups.

I hope Bergen does make the 53-man roster as the team primary return specialist.

Is there anyone on the 53 behind Bergen that looks like they could take that spot? Neyor is a monster athlete but he needs to learn how to play the position for a year. The rest of them are kind of journeymen and non-noteworthy guys.

When the pads go on the OL depth and Guerendo are going to be where I'm looking most. I think the starting line is essentially set in stone with Trent, Ben, Jake, Dom, Colt. Behind them there are actually some interesting guys, enough I'm not "worried".
