NY, got any links to reporters talking about him in OTAs?

couple podcasts. Basically saying he looks super fluid and has good hands. Won't know really how it goes until pads come on

I don't know which highlight reel you're watching but whichever it is, can you post it here and then tell me which throws Purdy can't make please?

Thanks.

Imo there wasn't a single throw (that I saw) that Brock couldn't make.

for me, the arm strength critique has more to with those tight window throws, extra hitch/have to reset feet to throw with more velocity, out routes etc vs him throwing a go ball. He's got good touch on those deep balls.

Who do you think has a stronger arm, purdy or Mac? This is based on something I read from a certain writer

Id say they're both pretty similar. I think Brock has more "arm talent" than Mac. He can throw on the run and play outside the pocket more than Jones.

Personally I think purdy's is much stronger, but Cohns exact words and in line with a lot the stupid s**t he wrote in his good/not so good…

He clearly has a stronger, more accurate arm than Purdy (more on him in a minute).

I mean he's watching them in 7 on 7s. Mac has good mechanics and in flag football with no rush, he might have a little better arm from the pocket.

When he's moved off his spot or has to throw on the run/outside the pocket…imo that's when his accuracy and arm strength goes down.

Their arms overall aren't a plus trait. I would still give the edge to Brock when actual football is being played.

Nice. Yeah, I remember Shanny talking about how good he looked at the combine. Looking forward to mini camp.

B-Rock Steady Purdy wont make those 60 yard passes, arm ain't strong enough... but if Shanny's smart enough to have him launch those rainbows within 50 yards, he'll be able to do that...

Which ones were 60 yards?

" those " .. in general.. he doesn't have the arm to make THOSE type of passes...

THOSE in response to a post talking about how PUrdy can't make those deep passes...means throws Purdy can't make.

So I'm asking which of THOSE throws were 60 yards. I didn't see a single throw on a highlight reel for him that Purdy can't make.

Who knows lolz. Dart wasn't throwing 60 yard ropes. Handful of those deep balls were broken coverages or Watkins getting a CB to bite on a double move.

Folks have some misunderstanding of arm strength. Yes some QBs can have more "hang time" on deep balls compared to others. They can all throw a ball deep. Arm strength is shown with those tight window throws, out routes, scrambling and not needing to reset their feet to throw a ball on a line etc etc.

NOT all true... MARINO AND KELLY could not throw the ball while scrambling.. JEFF GEORGE couldn't either..

Favre has one of the strongest arm I've ever seen, but he still needs to reset his feet in order to throw far or on a line... Vick and Randall are the types of QB who can throw the ball deep and on a line WHILE scrambling..

Nonsense. They just didn't scramble as much but they 100% had the ability and arm talent to sling it on the move.

Farve could throw a ball anywhere on the field off one foot lol.

Marino didn't need a bunch of hitches to rifle a ball. Same with most strong armed QBs. Thats the point.
Thought I accidentally clicked the Purdy thread 😂
I'd like to see more route running 90% of his highlights are vertical or a slant. Good things I've noticed is he can contest and catch in traffic didn't see a whole lot but he made some nice fade catches in the red zone. Also he's pretty good at finding holes in zone coverage. Doesn't look like he breaks tackles to often

SHOW me a highlight were Dan and Jim were scrambling around while unleashing a 61 yarder?

... and that's why I said NOT ALL TRUE..

Marino had a rare ability to step aside and unleashed but could not scramble..

FAVRE did have the ability to throw anywhere off one foot, BUT he needed reset..
