Not that it matters, but
CMC is gonna have a tough time getting 1000 yards receiving

It was always going to be tough when Brock came back. Mac Jones loved to check it down to CMC in .5 seconds whereas Brock feels like a failure if he ever checks it down.

LOL you thought Purdy was buddies with CMC , Purdy will push it down the field which can be good or bad let's just hope it's good the rest of the year.

I feel like he went down on first contact alot. He wasnt 100%
Dudes bizarre, he's the most fragile player then he storms through an entire season leading the league in snaps shattering records, rinse and repeat.

I hear ya , I just thought he ran hard and sometimes when people hear a player might be hurt they maybe look a little more into it.

I don't think many players this late in the year are 100%
CMC is a really bad runner this year. I don't know why Shanny won't run B Rob who is far more adept at between the tackle runs and can carry defenders.

CMC is averaging like 3 ypc at best. He's only a product of volume. Stop the madness and preserve him. Split carries and use him as a chess piece Kyle.

Just watched the game from a couple years ago when we destroyed the Eagles. CMac's explosiveness jumps off the screen. He's lost a lot

Still on pace for 1000/1000

Needs 78 more rushing yards and 140 more receiving yards in the next 3 games to make history.

He will get the rushing. Not so sure about receiving. Need more check downs.
Not trying to argue here but I can only shake my head everytime I read criticism of this guy. He's f**king amazing, period. His yards per carry do NOT tell a story of how good he is. I watch the same stuff everyone else does and I always come away feeling that we're lucky to have him. I just don't get it

90% of people whining on the internet literally don't even watch the games and it shows. It's embarrassing. They just look at the box scores and see 3.3 YPC and see an ESPN head (who also didn't watch the game) repeat it on their television and then suddenly they think they're an "educated" expert who knows everything.

Same with Brock Purdy against the Browns. That was actually a really good game from him but the usual suspects just looked at the box score and think he played poorly.

You can't say he's a bad runner this year , He leads the league in First Downs and missed tackles. His per carry avg is down more to do with the oline, no deep threat they key on him when he's in the game , he's also our short yardage runner which brings your avg down.I agree with Kyle not taking him out to run B Rob who is not even close as good as CMC even if he's lost a step.

He breaks through on runs and gashes. He drives DCs to distraction. As long as he's on the field, the offense is unpredictable and dangerous. Everybody is better with him out there. He doesn't need to average six yards per carry to do that. If he's sitting on the bench and a stiff is out there making five yards per carry, the offense is diminished. If he goes down, we're done. If he's on the bench, the team lacks potency and will be done.

So what are you going to do? You play him and keep winning as long as you can.
