Unfortunately he's going to come up short. He actually only needs 151, but since Purdy came back he hasn't been the receiving target he was with Mac. Mac used him as a check down security blanket.

Yup. I don't see it either. Kyle isnt the type to force it either. I felt he needed to get bigger receiving yardage tonight. He is going to need like 100 yards against the Bears to have a real shot.

27 touches for CMC last night. Saw a segment today with Cowherd and I agree with him. 7th time this year he's had 27+ touches. No other player in the league's had more than 3. And he's a 29 year old with an injury history.

Why is Shanahan doing this in your opinion ?

Like I said no player has the same burst as when they entered the league but his his burst looked go last night

I don't think the touches are going to be a problem because it's not the amount that's worrisome but what kind. He has 90 touches that are mostly short passes were he doesn't get a lot of big hits.He comes off the field a lot more this year than years past which I think has help keep him healthy were before he might have to stay in there and block on passing downs which is worst for a injury. I still don't get it and this is also early in his career he's the only player you hear people complain about his touches and why is that ?

I don't know their progressions but I think Brock looks intermediate and deep, which is great overall for the offense but killed CMC'S receiving numbers.

If he breaks a couple off (receiving) for huge gains that could change my answer from no to yes I hope he gets it

I can see CMC have another big game against a bad Bears defense.
