If he gets the TJ surgery, looks like that's a year or so from what I have read up on? 12-16 months? So, he wouldn't be back this year at all. Back in 2024, if things go well with the procedure. Why are some saying 6 months? I am avoiding Twitter as far as the Brock topic goes. It wasn't a good vibe at all on there. Hectic and toxic as Twitter sometimes can be.

i think trey starts, maybe brock comes in later if trey stinks
No offseason reps for Brock and will be rehabbing. I think Trey starts the season, with Brock waiting in the wings, if he's ready and Trey struggles.

Reconstruction would be 1 year. The hope is Purdy will only need to undergo repair, which will be a 6 months timeline.

SIT him out for the whole year.. we have Lance and let him prove his worth.. Purdy showed us what he can do... it's now Lance time... the job was given to him last and this upcoming year, he'll be under the microscope because of Purdy's success..

Jimmy G will be starting next year until Brock is fit. Lance proved he wasn't up to the job. He is No3 on the depth chart if all 3 are healthy.

Lance, got hurt. He still has a last chance to prove he can cut it.

Hoping for Brock a speedy recovery. I know the 49ers will help you in your rehab so you can be ready for training camp.

Dude is a monster.
There dudes out games... missing time with sprained pinkies, and then there is Brock with a completely torn ligament telling coach " Sure I can go out there, but I can't throw the ball more then 10 yards...call short passes if we can..."
Brock's personality is unbeatable. Brock is not the first dude to play hurt.....but it is rarer to get that tape it up and go mentality from QBs. Especially in this day and age.
I don't know if I have ever had more admiration and respect for a 49er player's willpower and moxie.

Let's hope he makes a full recovery and picks up where he left off.

Terrible news for Brock and the 49ers. Was refreshing Twitter all morning and finally gave up around 11ish and told myself I'm not getting worked up about it - he's gonna be ok - a few weeks and he'll be back. This sucks - same feeling I had when Lance went down in week 2.
How can we possibly have such terrible luck with keeping our QBs upright.
What could possibly go wrong?
I dunno the removal of Playactoin from the west coast offense?

Looks like the routine procedure for a full tear is TJ. Less favorable results come from some kind of revision procedure then stem cells seem good for partials. Just from what I have read about. Not sure how current that info was. But I think I am done reading up on it lol. Hoping for the best decision treatment wise for the best recovery. 🙏

From what I've heard it's uncommon for QB's to get TJ because the ligament damage is likely to have been the result of a contact injury and not from being worn and stressed. Pitchers put high stress on their arms for years. If his UCL was torn from the contact on an isolated event, they can likely just repair it.

Give it up man, Trey can't play Shanahan's offense.

On another team with a different offense. He would be perfect in Brian Daboll's offense
