We wait 30 years for a good QB. We finally have a guy who looks the part—and then his f**king elbow explodes.

30 years would be 1992.
I'm pretty sure we had a guy who looked the part then.

Reggie Bush is trash.
Pretty much calls Brock Purdy a p***y bc he couldn't throw. But a few weeks ago he said Lamar Jackson shouldn't step on the field if injured bc they would use it against you.

Quite a change of tone from all that you said about Jimmy just yesterday in his thread. And now you want him back?

Brodie yesterday:
"Hey Jimmy go f*** yourself. You f****** a******. Thanks for smirking your way all over the sideline showing that you were never really a team player in the first place. Can't wait for you to sign somewhere else you jerk off you shouldn't be in a relationship that you can't support. Get the f*** out of here"
"If you don't put an apology out on whatever social media you use you f**** dbag you better get ready for a career in the XFL because no one is going to hire you in this f****** League. Hope your agent reads this and gets a hold of you in the middle of your next p*** date so you can care of business for once in your life"

Yes, I forgot what year we had Nate Davis.

Now doctors need to decide between a repair vs. reconstruction of the UCL. This depends on the location & severity of the tear.
Repair = internal brace procedure, 6 months recovery
Reconstruction = Tommy John surgery, 7-9 month recovery
Man so we are looking well into the season if he needs reconstruction and cautious recovery timetable. The QB situation again is a complete mess.
Not really, Brock proved he has the ability to come in ice cold and play hot. So worse case Lance gets the start of next season.

when my buddy had it, they had to replace the tendon...that is what Tommy Johns is.
The attaching part is easy....the reason it was suppose to take a year is the body has to now grown an entire blood vessel system for the new tendon.
In the case my guy who had it done, his recovery was 2 years....not the one year they told him....so there what is said...and what actually happens with that repair.....
but
what I posted earlier is Tommy Johns has changed and some guys are back to throwing a baseball in 10 weeks...so science and technique has changed. There is at least reason to hope we could see Brock ready for training camp.
Might not be ready, might miss the entire year...who knows... but there is at least a chance he be ready, or off the bench next season.

No! Either one would demand 20-30+ Mil. We need $$ to sign Aiyuk, Bosa and CMC. Having 2 capable QB's on rookie salaries is what is going to keep our Super Bowl window open for a while. We just need a backup for Trey while Purdy recovers and hopefully it's a 100% recovery, which I fully expect. Most baseball pitchers come back from this I don't see any reason for Brock to be any different.
Agreed. f**k those old dinosaurs. Just roll with Trey if Purdy's not ready week 1. Draft another QB with an elite 10 yard split and fast processing/decision making lol.

Jimmy will likely get starter money ($25M-$35M/year) elsewhere. No way. Now if there's no market for him and he's willing to sign for under $15M, maybe. Even then I'd probably still roll with Trey and just see what he's got. Purdy will be back next season one way or another.
Both on our roster until Brock can throw. 2024. Jimmy starts trey bkup. No more bs.
Your last sentence contradicts your second to last one.

Assuming he can get back to where he was. Some, like Nick Mullens, are never the same.

If it's TJ surgery, you can kiss his 2023 season good-bye and here comes Brady.
Even in the best case scenario, 6 months is only recovery, he's not going to just jump in and be throwing like he did before the injury, its going to be another few months at least which pushes it into October.

After this surgery, he might come back throwing with more zip.

(link says an anonymous GM feels 9ers will trade Trey to Titans, Sign Brady and Brock backup)
Althought that would be a great situation for Trey and the Titans... and we'd have Brady for a year or so... we don't know how Brock is going to be when he gets back. Jimmy. I'm not talking just about arm strength (improved or not), but more so how the result of that experience will affect him a bit going forward.
Again we are in good situation having two young QBs on rookie deals.
unless the Titan's sent 3 first round picks....just hang up.....
This is exactly the scenario you keep Trey.
I think Brock will be fine, hell better then ever....but Brock would not be the first guy who did not come back from this injury. You don't sell the future for scraps even if you can sign an already declining Brady for a year.

Did Nick actually lose anything with his? I never really heard people comment on the before or after of his.

Read my above post. He might come back throwing even harder.
