Tommy John is worse than what he's reportedly gonna have. It's not a full blown reconstruction

I remember Drew Brees also had a throwing arm injury, that's why the Chargers didn't resign him. Big mistake.
It was his right shoulder I think?
But the Chargers were going with Rivers anyway. It´s Miami that decided to pass on Brees.

Exactly my thinking. And tbh I think Purdy's success will motivate Trey.

Well, time to give the 🐐 a phone call. Or Aaron Rodgers a phone call. Otherwise, we're screwed

No! Either one would demand 20-30+ Mil. We need $$ to sign Aiyuk, Bosa and CMC. Having 2 capable QB's on rookie salaries is what is going to keep our Super Bowl window open for a while. We just need a backup for Trey while Purdy recovers and hopefully it's a 100% recovery, which I fully expect. Most baseball pitchers come back from this I don't see any reason for Brock to be any different.

Agreed. f**k those old dinosaurs. Just roll with Trey if Purdy's not ready week 1. Draft another QB with an elite 10 yard split and fast processing/decision making lol.
