Who's salivating over Brock struggling anyway? I think fans have some criticisms at this point and rightfully so. I don't think anyone overall wants him to fail for some gotcha moment, that would be petty and pointless given we all want the team to do well and he's the guy who just got paid.
For me the way Mac played last night just reinforces my points about Brock (over the past couple pages). Take whats there, get rid of the ball especially on those early downs for positive yardage. You don't need to play hero ball all game.
playing on time and in rhythm. That's where he's at his best, he's not Josh Allen or Jackson who spend most of their snaps extending plays and playing out of structure. He's just gotta be smarter about all of it.
Not gonna get into the "hero ball all game" hyperbole but you know this is the Jimmy G/Nick Mullens game plan vs the Rams right? Except this Rams D is weak in their back 7. Styles make fights and Mac was a great QB for how they're built.
But I do hope that Brock sees the result of that game and remembers that against some teams you can win a game dinking and dunking and getting the ball out quick. We've seen Brock do that before so we know he can do it. But it won't work that way against every team out there.

It wouldn't be as bad as it is if he wasn't a turnover machine now.
