Mac Jones playing with scrubs but obviously hurt is balling out verse a healthy Purdy in 2024 playing with scrubs who was just mediocre. 🤔🤔🤔

Once again 2024 is not comparable to 2025.

Here is at least one comparison for 2025 which includes Purdy playing on the bad toe which clearly impacted his accuracy.

Mac has been playing hurt also since his preseason injury. Last night was clearly hurt. So let's include that too when mentioning injuries effecting the QBs.

He has been hurt. However there are different injuries. Some are a matter of pain tolerance, some are painful and may impact your ability to play the game more than others.

I told ya all it was the right foot

How do you know that doc?

Why don't you try to google it champ.

Your medical prognosis is in a google search? Really?

This is a Brock Purdy thread. Maybe worry less about me and keep your discussions to the topic at hand?

A PCL injury isn't nothing either. So both are "injured" both have basically the same roster (I'd saying last nights was worse this yr) and yet one is playing better?

Which one is playing better? They've both had about the same number of turnover worthy plays this season, but the offensive epa per play and yards per play have been better with Brock. Mac played well last night, but he was a little fortunate with turnover luck.

Me thinks Doordash has delivered too many preservatives and Brawndo to your brains.

you tell me what's massively different between a PCL injury and a toe injury then? There's grades and levels to all of it. Both injuries affect players.

I think the problem is folks get so defensive and attached to a player that being objective goes out the window.

For me it wasn't even totally about the inaccuracies of Brock's throws, it was the processing and where he was going with the balls. That part needs to improve (get back to what it was).

Is his big toe affecting his processing too? Mac isn't making these all world throws. He's processing quickly and making the correct reads. He's taking what is given and moving the ball.

Brock for the past yr + is playing hero ball when he doesn't have too. He's putting the ball in harms way too much, which has equal an uptick in TOs.

people are correct in questioning what Brock is doing out there. We all love the gunslinger mindset…but there's a time and place to be like that. I think Brock even recognized that over the off season, but it hasn't totally transferred onto the field yet.

We went for pages here with you claiming that throw to CMC was hero ball/YOLO, etc. A bad decision. When me and others have said the decision to throw it was perfectly fine but the throw was high.

His other pick was batted at the line.

The two interceptions he made in that game were not processing issues. So where is the hero ball you keep jumping on? Not to mention you can't constantly check it down vs good defenses and get away with it. They tackle well and some cover well on top of it.

Brock has targeted CMC 10 times vs Seattle and 11 times vs the Jags. He's not out there playing hero ball.

Once again this isn't much different from the Jimmy G gameplan vs the Rams back in the day. The game plan was get the ball out quick, run the ball. I sure hope Mac keeps playing at that level but it's also on Kyle to run with that type of game plan and enforce it for Brock as well.

Good Lord NY, really?

Dude, listen to Steve Young man but I am guessing not even he will clear things up for you.

I guess Alex Smith should have somehow played through his injury, since injuries are pretty much all the same lol.

Which plays did you take issue with...where should he have gone with them?

It's ironic you made that first statement cuz you and I both know you do the same thing for the guys you're all in for. It's part of being a fan, just don't pretend you don't do that yourself.

Give it up man. You have no idea of what or how much the injuries hurt or how they are impacting each QB. We saw what we saw. Purdy was moving better than Mac.

I'm not Steve Young but I'm sure you believe you know more than him as well...

Im not directing injuries or how much pain each QB is in. You seem to be to make your argument strong. Lol
I'm not switching up on Brock…. Unless Mac jones wins playoff games, it's a moot point

typical response from someone who doesn't want to answer the question, I haven't seen you make one critical response about Brock in here.

listen, Not my fault you can't keep it real and before you try to swing at as I'm some Brock hater, go look at my takes in on Mac.

I don't give a s**t who's the QB… In fact I want it to be Brock because we paid him.

Agreed so stay on topic and dont claim you know anything about the effects of Brocks toe injury as it relates to his accuracy and performance.
