Surprisingly, Brock actually has bigger hands than Trey.
He probably wouldn't so good at all the pump fakes he does if his hands were small.

Originally posted by BoldRedandGold:I think he purposely underthrew it though. He didn't see the CB. He threw it as if he had Kittle wide open on that side of the field but he wasn't. That is what I thought it was when I watched it. He just didn't see the CB underneath, so he underthrew the pass in an attempt to not overthrow what he thought was a wide-open Kittle. Not really surprising considering he was on the opposite side of the field of the CB.

Brock Purdy on his INT: Said he didn't see the backside CB and therefore left the ball too short. Purdy said he should've led George Kittle (which was obvious at the time of the play)

Not sure if posted already, but given the discussion...
Yeah he underthrew it.
The two throws on the next drive I feel were worse though. They were both way off target.

Fun Fact: Interestingly, Brock averages a consistent 2 Passing TDs per game. He's thrown 2 TDs in every game he's played extensively in.
Jimmy's 1.5 TDs per start this year. 1.33 last year, 1.69 in 2019, 1.4 in 2017, etc.

Couple of late and innacurate throws to Kittle and Jennings. Seem like floaters to allow his players to get under it. Missed 1 or 2 open options later. I don't know if he didn't get in a rhythm early when the Raiders held the ball too long in the first half. But… I like that he got this playoff atmosphere type game and faced some adversities. He was cool and collected under pressure and he made some clutch throws! The Int wasn't a back breaker and Kittle could have at least batted away. Overall, I give him a solid B in this game.
The Jennings throw was perfectly fine, quit perpetuating the lame narrative
just because the announcer say it on TV doesn't magically make everyone a genius.
