Yeah, the fewer the better.

Back to back weeks in Ny/NJ

I wonder if they stay in Ohio leading up to both games

Very, likely.

They should be coming to Levi's

Rip off

Outside of the playoff game when's the last time they came here? Feel like SF is always heading to NO

2016.

Pretty historic game in terms of yardage and big plays but definitely forgettable overall.

except, that wasn't the case at all last season in particular. lol.

It was loud on occasion and certainly in the playoffs. Let's not act like it's some daunting place for road teams to play lol

except again, literally no one has said that. doesn't mean Levi's didn't become a true home-field advantage last season.living in 2014 still lol

Your statement is a bit contradictory . First you say no one ever said it was a tough place for road teams to play. Then in the next sentence you say doesn't mean Levi's didn't become a true home field advantage last season lol

Levi's was never quiet last season lol. so your initial joke was contradictory in itself. that's the entire and only point im making

Clearly I've touched a nerve with you. Didn't realize how heavily invested you were in Levi's as a home field advantage m. You are right, it's one of the biggest home field advantages in football...,...,,,,lol

You've really turned into an expert at putting words in people's mouths. let me start over and be clear: for years, (2014-really until we started winning) Levi's was never a true home-field advantage. it wasn't until last season, it became a true home field advantage for our team. never had been that loud before. your initial post was lightly downplaying it based off history ignoring recent history jokingly. which is fine. the tables have turned, though. if this upcoming season is anything like the last in terms of crowd noise, it will continue to be a true home field advantage for us but naturally because of the pandemic that will most likely not be the case/matter just for this season.

That Saints game will be hot fire, Seattle games are always crazy, AZ is gonna be tough, Shoot I'd put the MNF vs the Bills and SNF game vs Philly ahead of the Packers at this point.

I don't know about "must watch", but we have them on a Thurs Night having just played the Seahawks in Seattle on Sunday. Getting a short week after what will probably be one of our most physical games is BS.

Goodell is doing more to help Rodgers than Gutenkunst.

Yeah, I love it too. Don't have to wait until 1pm to watch the game.

You will never find Levi's on the list of most daunting or loudest places to places to play, and that is not just factoring in the past. That is just factoring in it's not nearly as loud as other stadiums where teams can point to it and say "that's a tough place to play". Whether it be the layout with the open air design or the fact the sun hits one side directly forcing people out of their seats or so on and so on. It's nothing personal, it's just a fact. And that was my point. It may have been louder last season, but outside of the playoffs it was nothing game changing. And that is why I dont feel, comparative to other teams, that it's a huge impact to the niners .
I got my tickets here at Foxboro. Last time I went we won, but lost Iupati and Justin Smith to an injury

That smith injury was huge. Limited him for the rest of the season. Pass rush took a s**t when he and Aldon were banged up during that stretch run

I think that game was the biggest reason we lost the Super Bowl. We got injured and never recovered.

I went to every home game last year and the Seattle home game was extremely loud. For me, it was the loudest game of the season at home including the playoffs. Even though we just barely lost, the noise was just as loud as any game I've been to at the Stick.

Though nothing compared to the Saints game last year. Loudest sporting event I've ever been too. It is just a shocking level of noise in that stadium. They do however have all the video boards constantly telling the crowd to get loud and showing the DB meter. They do a good job at getting the crowd into a frenzy.

They wouldn't stay in Ohio before the first game. They'd simply travel like any other road game.

Now, between the two games they'll likely stay in the east coast, but I would bet on them staying somewhere a bit closer to East Rutherford than Ohio.

It's definitely improved, I will not deny that.
I think the loudest loudest game I've ever been to, in general, was 94' and it was Deion's first home game against the saints. He intercepted Jim Everett and took it back 74 yards fir a TD yo seal the win. I remember Rice was running off the sideline down the field with him lol. It was absolutely deafening

For sure. however in my opinion i think it's improved enough to the point where it does give the team a slight edge or advantage, whereas that wasn't the case in the past. But again, I'm not comparing to the likes of KC, NO, or Seattle. those will ALWAYS be considered "daunting" or tough places to play. our homefield has definitely risen to another level just for us in particular, though. and who knows, if it keeps up the way it did last year for years to come, maybe our house will one day be anointed as a "tough place to play" but in reality, it doesn't truly matter. as long as we win every game lol idc
This thing about who has the loudest stadium has more to do with acoustics than anything. All fans scream their heads off when their team is winning. You can't tell me that fans in some towns have louder voices than others. Places like KC and Green Bay have a fan base with little or nothing else to root for so they will always cheer their team. Dome stadiums are load when the team is good but I've been to the Superdome when the Saints were bad and it was silent in there except from the Niner fans when we scored. So it's the acoustics, not the fans. Levis is nice but I think it may have been a mistake to have those clubs at every level where fans can go at half time. Sometimes they don't go back to their seats.
