Nah not with joe blow at QB. That offense was on life support last yr

Belichick got what, 10 wins out of Matt Cassel? I wouldn't underestimate him, even if Stidham is at QB.

lol that '08 team was loaded

Pats D is still loaded

their offense is a giant ?

Their D is going to have some major changes on its own. From memory they lost Jamie Collins, Kyle Van Noy, Duron Harmon and Elandon Roberts. Two pretty big starts for them and two key backups.

They added a bunch of rookies on D and with Belichick it's all about scheme and doing your job. Vs an offense like ours...that job becomes even harder.

It will not be easy and their OL should be improved with Andrews coming back and the line just being healthy but while Belichick believes in Stidham...i just can't see him facing our defense even at home(especially if there aren't fans) and us not doing what needs to be done.

But like I said...Belichick is the one coach I would've rather not have extra time to prep for us....unless it was in the SB.

I like that New Orleans gets an early bye week this year. Not quite as early as we had last year(honestly week 4 bye weeks should not be a thing...and what do you know this year it's not) but theirs is week 6 I believe. We'll see how hot 41 year old Brees is next year. The injury was somewhat a help for him as he got to sit for a while and was much more fresh towards the second half of the season.
Why do people keep throwing the GB game as a must watch game lol? SF piss pounds them on the reg.

That Saints game will be hot fire, Seattle games are always crazy, AZ is gonna be tough, Shoot I'd put the MNF vs the Bills and SNF game vs Philly ahead of the Packers at this point.

I know I keep hoping it happens and it just doesn't...but I can't help but think Seattle's streak of crazy ass luck will run out eventually.

I mean it still upsets me that they were able to play for the division crown in week 17 despite how great our team played all year just because they got the lucky win against us earlier in the year when we were beat to sh*t.

Russell Wilson will always keep them in the running but I just feel like their luck with close games will run out eventually. Hopefully this is the year...

Seattle will finish 3rd in the division. I'm predicting Wilson has a down year - a year older, a step slower.

Yeah I'm so f**king done playing at New Orleans. When was the last time we played them at home when it mattered?

They cost us a Lombardi back in 2013 with the BS roughing the passer against Brooks. Pretty frustrating that another non call on rouging the passer on Jimmy was missed and possibly cost us another one last year...

Outside of the playoff game when's the last time they came here? Feel like SF is always heading to NO

Who cares what Clark thinks? Why are you all so butt hurt? He's not a believer in Garoppolo. He's not the first and won't be the last. In the end it's just an opinion. I swear fans lose their minds if the media doesn't teabag their favorite team.

That Jets game worries me. It's their home opener and it's only game 2 into the season and their team doesn't know they are suppose to suck.

Lol not supposed to know they suck? They sucked last year and no team gets confident until they rip a few wins off coming off a bad year. Jets will suck, stop Gore and Bell and we easily win, Darnold really has no one to throw to and I'm not worried about a 2nd round wr coming from the spread of Baylor who most hyped up here. Honestly this team should start 10-0 going into NO but I expect a bs head shaking loss in Seattle because Wilson

Yeah but the schedule doesn't work that way. Your away opponents are predetermined by the scheduling formula. IT's not like the schedule-makers were like, "Haha! Let's make SF play at the Saints again! Teehe." It's just how things shook out with them finishing 1st in their division and this year we were set to play the first place finisher of the NFC South on the road. If we had lost the division, we would not be playing at the Saints this year.

It's like a few years ago when it seemed like we had to play Dallas in Dallas every year.
If somehow under a miracle of miracles we have a full season I don't see more than 4 losses on the schedule.
12-4 is my initial call which will modify as we get closer I am sure.

It's too far for them, Goodell said.
