That Stanford study done recently in Santa Clara gave an indication that the Plague isn't that much more fatal than a typical flu bug. The people that are dying (or at least have a high mortality rate of over 1%) from what I've read - have already underlying disease or bad health prior to getting the plague. In other words, a typical flu *will* kill you if you are already unhealthy, and it's not much different with this year's plague. Thereputics are available, ICU beds are available, testing is available (can they test the 70+K fans before going to the game?)

The levi stadium is outdoor, and I believe the plague dies in the sun. If it's a night game and everybody wears a mask, I think the odds of anybody who is not symptomatic but has the plague - those odds of infecting somebody else is greatly lowered. I think the more we find out about this plague, the less dangerous it's becoming.
