Nobody knows. Oh, there were lots of "insider reports" throwing out "this number, that number, and the other thing." But none of it was based on a quotable source. Combine those reports with two years of more "insider reporting" that the Raiders badly wanted to sign JJ and you will be served up a steaming, hot bowl of jack squat. The only thing we know, as 49er fans, is that JJ is still a FA and is apparently not coming back to SF.

Should've taken the deal. I wouldn't have minded keeping him but we needed more speed and he made it clear he didn't really wanna be here anyway unless we wildly overpaid him.
