Not making any comparisons at all, but be careful when calling players a bust in year 2.
Why isn't anyone criticizing the WR coach and passing coordinator. Maybe they're the problem.

lol.. the last time I posted about WELKER, I ended up in a 24 hour TO... still wondering why..

I was hoping someone from the media had asked KS why we have a new starter at the WR spot?

looking like another first round bust.. so far, this draft class Is looking similar to the 2017 draft class. Too many misses.
I'm going to put money on him
balling out when he leaves SF. Kyle is an idiot.

If he's struggling to get separation why not scheme him open with some screen plays behind the LOS or a couple of jet sweeps like his rookie season? Shanny should at least try to Instill some confidence in him, Aiyuk showed he can still make plays w/ the ball last night.

Shanny might a good tactician but he seems like a bad motivator/leader. This is his pick, freezing Aiyuk out of the offense almost entirely isn't helping anyone.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I don't get how posters are so down on him.

Aiyuk is a playmaker. He had some tough catches when we needed him. The one-handed catch with a defender dropped all over him was big time. And he still got YAC afterwards.

the problem has been Shanny for trying to play stupid mind games with him. And not designing some plays specifically for him like he does Deebo. If Shanny highlighted him a lot more he would be one of he better WR in the league.

Totally agree... YUCK can't make a play if the ball only goes his way 5x per game... especially when 3 of 5 of those plays are hook or comebacks..

the guy is Antonio Brown but we are using him like Rashaun Woods..

Exactly moon. There's no point in having weapons if we're never going to use them.

This guy is a serious playmaker and needs to get the ball so much more. Do people in here forget how he was playing just as good or better than Justin Jefferson his last 6 starts last year???? Completely wasting his talent. Shanahan get the f with it

It was a great play, but why does it seem like all of his catches this year have been contested catches in tight coverage? Is he not able to get separation?

Right??!? It's not like he suddenly lost all his ball skills. He's just not being featured in this offense. Shanny needs to get this guy the ball more. Bubble screens, slants, deep posts, double moves to exploit his sudden change in direction. Anything other than how he is being used.

I'm sure Kyle is smart enough to scheme him open. He does this with Deebo. Unless he is choosing not to do so.

He does usually get open though. But either way, Aiyuk has shown he ability to catch contested balls and has the a big catch radius due to his long arms. Also, it's not like he's struggling with contested catches to scare Shanny from going his way.
I don't get how him getting mugged and having to make that catch with 1 hand wasn't a PI, but every play as long as the opposing qb throws it deep will always be a PI against us.
