I wonder what would have happen if he just showed up for OTA's last week? It can't be as simple as the 49ers would have just released him. It can't be, Has to be some type of leverage they have where they can recoup more money or something. Like a failed physical designation or something like that. Its like the one poster said, there is no way the 49ers would let him walk into the building and be around the team.

It has to be something because he isnt willing to make that move and the 49ers are just at ease at playing it out. The only thing he can do is cry over social media and that is backfiring bigtime on him.

Well I don't know if this is true because it is Florio, but if someone else knows how this works.. please correct anything.

Florio believes that we canceled the mandatory OTAs so that BA couldn't show up...

The one thing that Florio pointed out is both Aiyuk and Lynch are represented by the same agent so that agent is walking a tightrope right now.

If it is true I applaud that level of pettiness. But we will never know the truth and just like Jed saying he'd welcome Aiyuk back we are only going to say the right thing that keeps us clean with NFLPA.

Aiyuk could have showed up for OTAs. He can still show up for camp. Odd take.

This is the dumbest conspiracy theory ever honestly.

Forget the fact that the 49ers have done this before.
Forget the fact that the 49ers had all sorts of traffic stuff to deal with due to the WC as well as big time travel schedule all year so it made sense to cancel it if they liked what they saw so far.

...there is the simple fact that Aiyuk could've showed up at the facilities at any point during OTAs or the minicamps we had.

If he was planning on suddenly showing up this week then add it to another dumb decision the guy has made in the last few years. I'm sure it won't be his last.

Lol. If this is true… and I don't think it is for a second… everyone in that building should be fired. They would have completely lost the plot.

Has to be one of the dumbest pieces of speculation I've seen around this situation.
There doesn't need to be OTAs, mandatory mini camp or any type of event for him to show up.

He can show up at any time.

Keep pumping out those videos, r****d.

Yeah, Okay DF Shanahan is really stupid for believing in you so much he ran up the stairs to stop a trade was about to go through. What a petulant imbecile.

But the 49ers would still have little incentive to release him. Money due is the primary incentive to move him.

IIRC, it's not even Shanahan that convinced him to stay. It's just BA that at the very last minute didn't want to be traded and accepted the last contract offer.
But regardless of what really happened that summer, BA has been totally unprofessional.
I can tell you that the other franchises in the league probably want the Niners to keep doing what they're doing right now.
Imagine if the Niners released BA after everything he has done, that would set a bad precedent.
Every stupid idiot in the league could just quit on his team after signing a big contract and then go where he wants when he wants.
If BA is not happy well he just had to act like a normal player.
Someone like Fred Warner destroyed his ankle last year after signing a new contract in the summer IIRC. And Fred kept being the great leader everybody knows he is.

I'm speaking on the conspiracy of why camp was canceled.

as for cap/money… I have no clue due to him breaking probably every term/agreement in his contract. We possibly could walk out of this without adding more dead cap

Gotcha… s**t is ridiculous.
BA, Deebo, Jennings, all divas on social media discussing their contract situation. You would think Kyle would make better predictions based on past events and commonalities.

He thought we'd release post June 1 but I could've told him differently or his agent had he been speaking to him
Aiyuk doesn't want to deal with everyone side eyeing him and the media if he reports lol. It's kinda funny he's in a lose lose situation really. His best case scenario even if he reports is to get released right before the season starts.
