So he got his $30 million a year. Well Lynch just f*cked this franchise for good. Now every half-decent talented player on the roster is going to pull this s**t, because they know it will work now. Good job, John!! Gonna start calling him John FLINCH. He's probably going back to broadcasting next year, and doesn't care about the shape he leaves the team in.

You're safe to say 'he catches touchdowns and wins games'

He's still a selfish ass to me.....I'll only forgive him if/when he hauls in the game winner in the Super Bowl. I'm old and don't fall in love with players anymore. He's on a "prove-it" deal for my allegiance.

I really don't blame any players for fighting for their worth.
Of course, given that he didn't have a ton of leverage... I'm not sure it was really worth it for him to hold out like that and all of TC and pre-season in a year where we're trying to contend.

That's not sustainable

I heard Hargrave can be a post-June cut next year and then they save a bit over 20m in cap space. This is very possible.

He sure has been lack luster. Depending on this years performance I'd say it's very likely.

Hargrave is gone
Hufuanga is gone
C. Ward is gone

Deebo is likely gone
Demo is likely gone

We will bleed talent we wish we could keep from here on out now that Purdy needs to get paid

That was always going to be the case. If this draft class is as good as we think it is it'll continue to be the situation… not a bad spot to be in

Hargrave doesn't do much....
Hufanga is injured and was never fast. We got 2 young safety's that fly all over the field....
Deebo is always injured....

I'm actually ok with those.
Where's NY and all those reports of ghosting, lowball offers and all the other crap reports he believed in !

i still love you NY

Yes, a few guys on here said that was the low deal so it's all good.

That's because he was about to start seeing significant fines and using math he knew he'd lose money he can't recoup by holding out any longer. His calculator finally started working I see

The 2020 WR draft class was one of the best ever. Jefferson, Lamb, and Aiyuk who were all drafted in the 1st RD that year getting 30+ Million per season deals. I also think Higgins was drafted that year. Meanwhile Ruggs is sitting in prison asking himself what if.

At least Ruggs looked like he belonged talent-wise. Meanwhile Jaylon Reagor...lol
Hard to believe he got close to Bosa money!

Now he can be himself and say what he wants to say. Not like when he was a rook in Kyle's dog house LOL

IMO, the ONLY leverage Brandon had was to sit out until the very last moment and he started incurring fines--all the while hoping SF panics and keeps upping their offer, eventually taking whatever was on the table.

We probably could have got him for 28.
