So he got his $30 million a year. Well Lynch just f*cked this franchise for good. Now every half-decent talented player on the roster is going to pull this s**t, because they know it will work now. Good job, John!! Gonna start calling him John FLINCH. He's probably going back to broadcasting next year, and doesn't care about the shape he leaves the team in.

I really don't blame any players for fighting for their worth.
Of course, given that he didn't have a ton of leverage... I'm not sure it was really worth it for him to hold out like that and all of TC and pre-season in a year where we're trying to contend.

Hufanga is injured and was never fast. We got 2 young safety's that fly all over the field....

IMO, the ONLY leverage Brandon had was to sit out until the very last moment and he started incurring fines--all the while hoping SF panics and keeps upping their offer, eventually taking whatever was on the table.
We probably could have got him for 28.
