Paraag*

We kept a good player. Our QB's best true receiver. There's worse things.

You don't pay premium money to a borderline top-10 WR.

I heard Hargrave can be a post-June cut next year and then they save a bit over 20m in cap space. This is very possible.

I'm counting on that. It's the looming 40+ to Purdy that's the rub

SO he got Amon-Ra St. Brown money, which is right about where he should of been. SO why this take so long?

Because both sides couldn't agree and it took fines to start accruing on BA's paycheck,or the 49ers getting nervous without BA as a receiver,or whatever the reasons were, but pressure and reality hit one or both sides and they came to agreement.

Nope he took the contract that has been on the table since the beginning of August.

Yep, this season is Super Bowl or bust and going to loose abunch next season.

Hargrave definitely out

I don't necessarily disagree, but we are unquestionably better for at least this season with him fully bought in. We'll see what happens down the road.
He's still a selfish ass to me.....I'll only forgive him if/when he hauls in the game winner in the Super Bowl. I'm old and don't fall in love with players anymore. He's on a "prove-it" deal for my allegiance.
Does this deal get added onto the 5th year option, or does this void the 5th year option?

If so, how does this affect our cap?

IIRC, I thought someone mentioned that there was a clause/stipulation he wasn't too fond of?
I wonder if the overall money was fine, but certain details weren't?
Is this true or like April fools? Because I'm not sure yet.

Hargrave is gone
Hufuanga is gone
C. Ward is gone

Deebo is likely gone
Demo is likely gone

We will bleed talent we wish we could keep from here on out now that Purdy needs to get paid

It kicks in after year 5 I believe.
