I hope the time spent not practicing hard during camp doesn't equate to a down year. Need him to continue to build on last season.

I heard Hargrave can be a post-June cut next year and then they save a bit over 20m in cap space. This is very possible.

I think a frontloaded contract is wise. Purdy's contract next year is going to be GINORMOUS, so they have to make sure they time the yearly cap hits correctly. I assume they'll backload that contract, since a QB is someone you envision stays with the team for the next 10 years.

When Amon-Ra signed, that was the perfect comp imo.

Because both sides couldn't agree and it took fines to start accruing on BA's paycheck,or the 49ers getting nervous without BA as a receiver,or whatever the reasons were, but pressure and reality hit one or both sides and they came to agreement.

Probably not. But depends on how the cap hits are spaced out.

Massively overpaid. Lunch is a joke.

That is crazy, that means he just didn't want to go to camp.
glory glory hallelujah!
The 2020 WR draft class was one of the best ever. Jefferson, Lamb, and Aiyuk who were all drafted in the 1st RD that year getting 30+ Million per season deals. I also think Higgins was drafted that year. Meanwhile Ruggs is sitting in prison asking himself what if.

Paraag*

We kept a good player. Our QB's best true receiver. There's worse things.
