So you're just making up stuff and not using an substance from legit reporting because that's what you "believe" okay man

Same. I've always felt that if he goes anywhere it'd be Washington and would result in Luke McCaffrey coming to the 49ers.

I'd definitely take McLaurin, a 2nd and a 5th at this point.

Whether BA comes or goes, fact of the matter is he went from my favorite player on this team down to perhaps my least favorite player. The Niners have done more than enough to appease BA. BA is being greedy and I simply cannot endorse this behavior. So sad it's come to this point.

Hes like the whiny kid growing up who takes all his marbles and goes home when he doesn't get his way. Boo hoo BA. Grow up, my man, grow up. It ain't all about you…

I still love Aiyuk but I'm just over this s**t honestly.

Fact is there are a lot of positives to Aiyuk not getting his deal here which will make it easy for me to rationalize losing a talented WR like him.

I still want him signed because I think that gives us the best chance to win a SB right now and that's my #1 priority. But I do need this sh*t to be over with one way or another asap. Tired of all the rumors and all the non update updates.

From who?

If this is so it has to be driving the 9ers front office crazy. This isn't smart. Lamb may not even be signed. The Cowboys might make him sit. So if Aiyuk is waiting on Lamb to be signed to drive the price up he needs to be slapped. I can understand that strategy early in the process. At this point it's just stupid. Again, if this is true.

Legit reporting?

every report has been false so who's the fool here lol

That's his job. That is why he makes 14+million.

I am actually not making a direct comparison to a typical salary but more that the argument that when is it enough. It's not capitalism it is pure greed and entitlement on the part of BA. It's funny how some claim he should get fair market value and yet he isn't in the market and when he does get offers that market provides he blows them off.

The tribalism of the NFL does breed stupidity. I guess I am one of them.

No it's actually the definition of capitalism lol. It's demand/supply and the market setting the worth of a profession/person/widget or whatever.

Also no he is in the market. He's due for an extension, his agent and him use other contracts to gauge their worth…he has absolutely no reason to sign below what the market is saying his worth is. He's clearly NOT all about the money because he did in fact say no to that NE contract.

Look man you can be frustrated with how much players make…imo that's a massive waste of time because you can't change it. This "business" is booming and we're all part of making it happen. $13B last yr and that s**t is going up.

There's no tribalism in what I'm saying. Im just telling ya that's how capitalism and things like the NFL roll.

can't wait for next yr when Brock isn't taking a "hometown" discount

So guys like Maiocco/silver/Adam Schefter and Rapp aren't legit reporting lol?

guess we just take your word for it….he clearly wants a FGTD contract or the same amount as JJ. Because you know

How is throwing names out counter all the false reports?

Just the hint of telling you to don't believe everything you read, really gets you defensive lol
If Shanahan was joking about the Ayiuk situation, that's a good sign we are in the driver's seat with this drama.

We don't know what it going on but the way it's being framed is he wants his money and yet he's being particular about getting it from a certain team(s) and that sure seems ridiculous. I believe as a player you should have a priority. Team or money. If it is money the reporting says go to NE. If it is team then make SF come as close as you can to market money then get on the field. It would be ludicrous to believe you're going to get NE money here unless you're Bosa

Yes BA is a 💩 should have been signed long time ago. Time for SF to move on to the other players and quit spending time and energy on this 💩

Who said that's what he wants? There isn't a single report saying that he wants a FGTD contract or JJ money.
All reports are based on rumors and to believe a small amount is what's keeping this deal from being done is not being open minded to, That this is all BA's agent being difficult

I think it's more BA than his agent. This whole thing is about Aiyuk getting his way and nothing else, he doesn't want to compromise or else he would've signed. If it were about money, dude would've been suiting up for New England's last preseason game. If it were about just getting outta SF, he would be in Cleveland who was ready to fork over Amari Cooper to the 9ers. If he really wanted to stay in SF, then the muther f**ker would've signed already.

YIkes that only leaves Pittsburgh and that horrendous trade.

Actually I think BA really prefers Washington over any place else since Jayden Daniels is his boy. So if Washington upped whatever Steelers were offering he'd go there in a heartbeat.

That would be awesome for a 1st and McLaren. I'd say do it. I know that's dreaming but I'd take a 2nd if that would work.
