With that said I think there is only going to be 1 destination, and thats Washington

He certainly wants to play there, so I expect that's where he'll end up. If they were to change their mind though, I would think another team will give him a chance. Who knows for certain?

Probably end up a Ram lulz

"he quit"... yall can view it that way.

or it can be viewed he didn't want to deal with the BS of this front office, and he found a loophole to get paid 50mill for only 7 games, and he gets to pick his next team for a new contract...be it 8mill...10mill.... then in 2027 if he plays like how he has played in the past.. will get a yuge contract.

So he gave up what $30 million so he can turn around and sign for $8 million???

LOL are you the one giving him his advice???

He'll sign a 1 year prove it deal but i doubt he'll ever get another big deal again. He'll be 29 once this upcoming season is over. Teams are going to be real hesitant negotiating with him for a long term deal knowing how easily his feelings get hurt.

BA is a quitter.

I don't think he can go online and talk about robbing a team and calling the team stupid for paying him, while expecting another team to pay him.

If so, it will show that the NFL is doing the opposite of collusion.
Can't wait for the new season to start and will be very happy to get this reality show BS over with. It's been a real unpleasant, unnecessary disaster.

yeah, weird way to view it. it isn't like he's coming off his 2023 all pro year. it's 2026 and he hasn't played football in nearly 2 years and - he destroyed his knee. he didn't have a normal acl tear, he tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL, while also sustaining meniscus damage. coupling those two, and this stage of the off season and the antics, I doubt he gets any sort of lucrative contract.

If i'm being honest, and this would be insanely difficult to prove, but I can see the nfl league office sending out a warning about Aiyuk. to discourage players in the future from doing anything like this. This isn't just a "49er" problem. lol the entire league doesn't ever want to have this situation and I'm sure theyve discussed at length how to handle it to send the message of it not happening again - it's just bad business all around for everyone.

My guess, is if the 49ers are cutting him before camp - Aiyuk isn't going to sign a deal anywhere for camp. just my guess.

we may be over explaining here, it's not that complicated, he got his bag, and he's a made man that means he doesn't have to listen to anybody, and the reality is that's very human if 50m was dropped on any of us, we'd be out of there so fast the chair would be spinning,, there would be no 2 week notice, just let them see the empty desk and hear the tires patching out and they can figure it out. it's called quitting, he quit, check the thread title, that's all you need to read

It's such BS that they're asking him to come rehab at the facility. How dare they. Every other team in the NFL let's players rehab however they want to.

2023 will be his best season as an NFL player. He'll never be a 1000 yard receiver again. I believed this during his contract dispute. And this was before he tore every CL in his knee and didnt play football for nearly 2 full seasons.

He can sign a one week contract with each and every team we play against next year and I still won't be worried. 2023 was a textbook contract season. He played out of his mind bc he wanted money and everything he's done since then has done nothing but confirm that.

the reality is it doesn't matter where he ends up his heart is absent, he has checked out as a result of getting paid, figures he is set for life, he may take a contract to keep the scam going but it's just him getting what he can while being checked out, so i welcome that for rams go for it, he will only waste their time and money, just like he only wastes our time in this thread

yes, like the 9ers "let" Bosa do his in Florida... and they "let" CMC travel to Germany for his treatment.
as far as Aiyuk getting a new contract in a year, well we've seen teams not give a f**k when it comes to off the field stuff...

if anything, it would be a nice contract with stipulations that protect the team....which I'm sure Aiyuk would gladly sign...

Those guys still did their required check-ins with the team medical staff. They worked with the 49ers and made arrangements for their outside rehab. Aiyuk clearly did not.

I sure wouldn't be confident in that assessment.
