Wanted this guy back in 2017 I think it was. Definitely not the same guy he was a few years back but a veteran presence with ties to Shanny is needed, more so if Goodwin is playing someplace else next year as many suspect he will.
Yes, he is. At the very least he'll be a major distraction. And with Shanny's commitment to the run he'll bea a cancer.
Show me where he's been a locker room cancer....his teammate actually loved having him on their team. Dude works hard. I don't give a s**t if he wears a watch or makes crazy catches during warmups.
Such a overblown comment.
It's been reported kyle would LOVE to have OBJ and him and Jimmy G are bros. Wouldn't be close to an issue. He just wants to win and WRs don't have an issue getting the ball in kyles scheme

I think with OBJ it's always been more of a perception problem. It's easy to think he cares more about the shoes he wears and the stats he gets over wins and losses. Probably more due to playing on s**tty teams than anything else though.
With him being a great punt returner he has a third best average in the league right now, Pettis And James are on notice. This guy is a great deep threat I remember him catching bombs all the time so Goodwin is as good as gone

Yep, this is a good signing. It sends a message to some of the down-roster guys that your spot is not secure. Competition all down the roster.
Why does everyone continue to treat these minor, bottom of the roster signings like they're a Bill O'Brien trade? He's a training camp body and competitor with Richie James for the 7th spot in the WR room. Benjamin is not guaranteed a roster spot, only a paycheck until he makes (or doesn't make) the roster in the fall. Don't panic.

Is he a diva a little sure. That's true for a lot of WRs. He's never been a locker room guy though. I'd be pissed if I was as talented as him knowing I can help my team win and never getting the ball...and losing lol

You don't think this guy can become a problem?
. . or this:
. . . or this:
Why should we bring in a 27 year old baby who has proven himself to be a sideline tantrum waiting to happen? You don't think this can be a detraction that can turn cancerous? This team does not need that kind of energy polluting the sidelines, or polluting the locker room. You speak to reports that Shanny likes the guy. But OBJ lacks something that Shanny and Lynch covets - in-games toughness who shys away from real contact:
On top of the tantrums and being an expensive headcase OBJ is a guy who makes "business decisions". You want that in our locker room? Sorry, I don't want him.

Well, it exemplifies that our management is passing on decent FA who can make an impact NOW while focusing on signing camp bodies.
This team got worse compared to last season, and they haven't really done much to address that.
