On that TD run that got everyone wet in their pants Titans looked like a peewee team trying to tackle the bigger kid that got held back multiple years. You can just see with the eye test that Mahomes is nowhere near the level of runner and elusiveness as Wilson, Jackson and Murray. Im sure Mahomes can run around on defenses with front 7's as slow as Houstons and Tennessee

When I saw the highlight of his TD run I thought they were playing it in slow motion . Mahomes is excellent in making people miss within the pocket but if he takes off and tries to start running a bunch I think our LB's have PLENTY of speed to stop him.

Mahomes is a elusive QB. No doubt about it. But between Russel Midget and Mahomes, I think Midget is the more dangerous QB. Mahomes tends to force things into double coverage thinking his arm can get away with it. Midget, on the other hand, is much more elusive and can buy more time and still has the vision to touch pass it in there and not force it the way Mahomes seems to like to do.

Our defense was able to corral Midget, but it wasn't easy. Dee Ford is going to be a big help. Thank god we have two weeks for the entire defense to rest and get healthy for Feb 2. 2020 (0202-2020 )

They wouldn't last very long in this forum. Over there at Chiefsplanet they can tell mods to go f themselves and it seems to be all peachy.

I agree with this. One of the greatest one season turn arounds in NFL history. We rank no. 2

Confirmed 49ers are using chemical warfare. I like it. Edgy, borderline desperate, but I like it.

For the way we are built I prefer that all day long. I trust Bosa and Buck to get him on the ground a lot more than one of those hard to tackle in a phone booth sort of guys.

I cant take anything away from Mahomes and the Chiefs. They are in the super bowl for a reason but your comparing the Titans defense to the Niners? Thats a slap in the face. Titans were 24th against the pass this year and 13th in sacks. The Niners are #1 against the pass and #5 in sacks. I doubt thats a fluke. We wont shut them down but it also wont be a cakewalk for the Chiefs offense. Niners also have a better, more diverse offense than the Titans and will probably be able to keep Mahomes on the sidelines a bit more.
I agree with both on the Kyle offense.
49ers are a much more balanced team, for sure. That's by design. A lot of credit goes to Kyle and having him get undrafteds like Bourne, Breida, Mostert, Garland, Dwelly, etc... on offense so that John can devote every first round pick we have to the D Line. Kyle also doesn't need the tuck rule or the deflate gate to win by +1 points against his opponents. His creativity and brilliant schemes are +20 points already in my book, even before the game starts. Pats had a ton of trouble (I think) in their playoff games simply because they aren't as creative offensively as Kyle has been this year on offense.

As for Mahomes, I think he's a lesser version of Midget. Which means that you don't take him lightly. He is a very capable QB and very talented. As talented as Midget but taller and maybe less elusive, but that tallness doesn't limit him as much as it does Midget when the rush comes up the middle. We have a better defense than them, and I think a better overall offense than them, and I predict a comfortable win. Around the score of the '84 niners super bowl game against Marino so long as we don't make any mistakes.

Mahomes flicks his wrist for a 30 yard accurate dart. That's the gift and the problem every defense deals with.

The '81 team ranks #3!

I hope this is the beginning of the 49er Dynasty #2!

Perhaps we can restart the conversation of Tyreek Hill and his domestic abuse accusations.

Make it national news with the Super Bowl bringing it to the forefront of public opinion and judgement.

The people have a lot of power, especially in today's political climate.

Honestly if Karma is real, this would be the game for it to shows its face.

Tyreek Hill and Frank Clark do not deserve a SB ring. They're talented players but total scumbags who shouldn't be playing.

I like a lot of their players and probably would be rooting for them if we weren't playing them but this 49ers roster is so much more deserving(no homer) just a great group of guys and a guy like Staley who deserves a ring.

Let's start him off with #1 next Sunday! End the season on a W.

Hill and clarks horrible issues in the past will probably be brought up during SB media week.
I think a lot of the fan and media perception of this game is based on that big comeback against Houston. It's still fresh in everyone's mind. If you look at point differential for the year the Niners are at 11.3 and KC is at 9.7. In the playoffs we were +13 and they were +13.7 mainly because of that Houston game.

They beat the Ravens in the 3rd game of the year at Arrowhead 33-28.
They lost to the Packers 31-24. Their fans will say they didn't have a healthy Mahomes but they still gave up 31 points to a team we dominated twice.
They barely beat the Vikings 26-23 which is another team we dominated.

We live in a world of short attention span and whats the next big thing. Right now they see Mahomes as the big thing.

Will be taller order than DeBartolo era. I really respect that the Patriots dynasty was in the salary cap era. Incredible achievement. You need a great coach, QB and a proven system where you can plug and play with support players who aren't household names. No more no-brainer Bosa gifts when you draft at the end of the round. But some of our best draft picks were later round guys anyway. We've whiffed on plenty of early rounders.

I hope they ask Reid, "So Kareem Hunt kicks a lady and he's quickly off the team. Then you go and trade for Frank Clark who beat the s**t out of a woman. What's up with that?"
