Just having Mostert run them over would be my feel good Cinder-Fella story! cut by 6 bad grandmothers and then one day 7th ShanDalf wizard finds him and puts him in a pumpkin to go to the Super Bowl and wins a Ring and keys to the 49er kingdom.
Recalling the last really high powered offenses going into Super Bowl games:
2015 Panthers scored 80 points in 2 playoff games. 5 point favorites over Denver. Lost 24-10
2013 Broncos, the most prolific offense in NFL history at the time. 2.5 point favorites over Seattle. Lost by 35.
2018 Patriots v LA Rams, 57.5 point over, the highest ever for a Super Bowl, Pats win 13-3.

Granted Mahomes has already been anointed the great QB of all time, combining Peyton, Brady, Elway and Young into one unstoppable package but I still like the 49ers front 4.

They were able to stuff it because TENN went away from it. They only ran Henry 3 times in the 2nd half. It wasn't like they completely stifled Henry but Henry wasn't just running through gaping holes either. The bigger problem was that Tannehill and the Titans couldn't take advantage in the play action game. With Deebo and Kittle - 2 guys who've been monsters off PA, there will be opportunities and anyone who believes Jimmy doesn't have much better arm talent than Tannehill needs to rethink their choice of chemical additives.

With the run game, teams have to commit to it, even if you're down. The moment the Titans went down by anything they abandoned the run game with Henry. We also have a more varied rushing attack. Henry is a between the tackles zone monster but our run game will go between the tackles, counters, traps, power, jet sweeps, reverses all sorts of things that defenses have to account for because we have speed to run through your defense or around it.

I agree that our running game is far more varied and creative than Tennessee, which was basically a bludgeon. If a run play isn't there for the Niners they usually get stuffed because we have small, fast backs. With Henry, he's more like he's just going to run over you. And I also agree that we have the capability to gash people on play action since guys like Juice, Kittle and Deebo can all block and torch you on a pass too, so you can't easily predict what the Niners will do based on their personnel. I guess I'm just pouring a little cold water on the narrative that the Chiefs aren't capable of just stopping the run when they just prevailed over the top back. Sounds like you are of the opinion that the Chiefs didn't respect the ability of Tannehill to beat them, and they won't have the luxury of playing simply to sell out against the run with the Niners. For what it's worth, I hope our game plan is to hit them with passing early. I think they will start determined to stop our run. Put them on their heels with a changeup of style, then start running after some successful early passing. To quote Mike Singletary, "I like that kind of party".

Really hope 49er fans show up big at the game and get loud for our guys.

Can't have KC making it a home game. I'm worried since they haven't had their team in the dance for 50 years they'll be more likely to make the trip and get loud(we know they can do that)

depends on who has more, wealthy fans....lol

lol true...I'd love to go but need the money for family stuff and my wife's grandmother's bday is that weekend so I'd never live that one down.

I would be surprised if your wife's grandmother wouldn't want you to be happy and go

My suggestion, Home Equity line of credit.

Manu and Dwaine hit Marino a couple of times, the guy just changed demeanor and became a crybaby. He was no longer the calm and cool surgeon carving up defenses. He became frustrated at his OLine and couldn't find his WR's anymore and began pressing and turning the ball over.
It took a few days, but it has finally really sunk in. We r going to the fn super bowl
The Super Bowl will never feel like home/ away game as even if you got more fans the majority of the audience will still be suits with no rooting interest.

Agree. But there are around 40+ billionairs in the bay area, and with 1 billionaire, there comes about a thousand millionaires (just a guess) and so theres 40+ K right there that can go.

I remember people complaining that we were having too many close games at years end. Well, so far in 2 playoff games we've won by 17 point both games. We're getting hot at the right time.

dude getting the bye was everything. that's what the difference was in point differential in the playoffs compared to the end of the season

A healthy Ford, Kwon, and Tartt really has made a big difference. Hope we use that 32nd pick in the first round for another ford/bosa 2.0.
The only real argument we have heard for anyone picking the Chiefs is Mahomes.

The gap between our Offense and their Offense is not even close to the gap between our D and their D.

Several pundits have literally said he is the best QB to ever play the game. He's passing it better than Cam was in his MVP season but Cam was also running the ball a lot more.

Denver's D shut down Cam.
Seattle shut down Manning.
Giants shut down Brady...twice.
Pats shut down Goff and their high-powered O.

Mahomes will get his but let's not act like high powered offenses haven't been stopped in some recent SBs when playing against great Ds. Everyone's acting like Mahomes cannot be slowed down at all.

You expecting a premiere pass rusher to get injured and drop that far

I have heard that John may trade out of the first round for more picks.
