Chiefs have 4 legit WR(/TE). Two of them are very fast.
The QB can move, and throw deep.
In some ways, the NFL wants offense to reign supreme, plus the whole media is barking up Mahomes.
I agree with Vegas having a +1.5 for Kansas City.
The 49ers pass rushers have to get to Mahomes (who is mobile), and more importantly - get fumbles. Sacks might not do it.
Yes, there is the Chiefs defense and the 49ers offense, but I think the game will mostly be played with Chiefs offense vs 49ers defense.
I'm hoping for the best, and the toughest part about reaching the SB - you have to win it.

I'd say three of them are very fast: Hill, Watkins, Hardman. All 4.3 guys

Man, the bias against the 49ers is really deep. I think the nation will be in mourning when we win, especially if we win that same as we beat the Vikings and Packers, with little passing and massive runs. The NFL might make rules to almost force more passing.

Chiefs
Pass Offense: 4th-best
Run Offense: 19th
Team Defense: 8th-worst
Run Defense: 4th-worst
49ers
Pass Offense: 12th
Run Offense: 5th
Team Defense: 2nd
Pass Coverage Defense: 1st
Dominate time of possession, keep the defense fresh and pin your ears back when the chiefs look to pass. People like to point out the chiefs stopped henry but we don't play that game. The Titans also gave him the ball 3 times in the second half and decided to try and have Tannehill win a game for them. lol

This. The Titans run game was so simple to defend. Watching the game I knew what side they were running on and when they were going to run. They ran to the strong side almost exclusively. I coach elementary and high school ages (and scout for collages). I could have given the Chiefs a game plan and they would have won. It was very little creativity in their scheme. Now, OUR run game is totally different. If they think they're just gonna stack the box and stop our run game the game will be over by the half.

Unfortunately I dont think KC's coaches are as dumb as their fans. I dont know what they re gonna do because our run game is so diverse, but yeah if their plan is to just stack the box they're gonna give up a lot of points.
Chiefs fans have definitely got a false sense of security by shutting down Henry. Henry is a guy, we are a scheme and philosophy. And we havent even shown any passing plays. They're gonna be in for a rude awakening as far as our offensive ability goes.

Because then we'll just switch up sides to run, and, it will confuse them.

dude getting the bye was everything. that's what the difference was in point differential in the playoffs compared to the end of the season
A healthy Ford, Kwon, and Tartt really has made a big difference. Hope we use that 32nd pick in the first round for another ford/bosa 2.0.
Not only that but I think Nick getting more rest has helped big time too. Rookie getting a lot of snaps towards the stretch who plays with his hair on fire...he was playing on fumes toward the end of the season.
Not a shocker to see him end up with 3 sacks in 2 games after getting a bye week to rest up.
Hopefully another bye week gives him even more fuel while helping our other guys too...need to get to Mahomes and put a hurting on him or he's going to put a hurting on us.

So I would it will take extraordinary effort for the Chiefs to win. Special plays, out of the ordinary mistakes, etc.
this is way too simplistic to take seriously lol

Man, everyone is talking up Mahomes like it's a one on one sport. Like he's going to catch his own passes and block for himself. It's crazy how everyone took Lamar Jackson down from the pedestal and have replaced him with Mahomes.

He has T. Hill, T. Kelce, S. Watkins catching his passes. That sounds pretty good to me. The OL pass protection is also very good. So the reality is he doesn't need to catch his own passes or block for himself.
