Can't have KC making it a home game. I'm worried since they haven't had their team in the dance for 50 years they'll be more likely to make the trip and get loud(we know they can do that)

Nah we are just as thirsty and probably have a bit more disposable income

I dunno, most fans can't even afford a trip...I think it will depend on who the sweetheart going into the game is to see who the crowd roots for, and in this case it will likely be KC. But not to the extent where it would feel like a road game for the Niners.
It's a lot more effective that jumping up and down in front of the refs and act like a 13yr old...

To be honest, I was really surprised at how many fans showed up at the Tampa Bay game earlier this season. I know the SB is a different animal in terms of pricing, but I'm strangely not that worried about it

Probably won't be loud either way. Majority will be a bunch of people in suits that don't give a s**t about football
this still gets me jacked up, fav image from the game

Niners Fans!!! Suffer me this collection of words to instill the reason for confidence in the 6th Lombardi Trophy coming to Santa Clara.
The Genius, Mr. Walsh, taught me something during his coaching tenure. As much as it is important to have a great offense, it is so much more important to have an even greater defense (offense scores points, defense wins championships, right!). As has been stated numerous times, in the NFCCG against the Cowboys, the Niners (Montana) turned the ball over SIX TIMES!!! Dallas should have killed us!!! Hell, they scored five times (3 TD's, 2 FG's). But, that Niner D was relentless!!! And each defense there after has been relentless for the Niners championship runs. This 2019 defense is relentless (which has been stated by numerous media outlets). Our front four is talented and fast. Our LB's are smart and hit hard. Our secondary covers until the front four get home. On the first defensive play of each regular season game this year, the opposing offense has been taken aback by what just happened to them. The Super Bowl will be no different. Our running game will not be stopped; their running game will. Any time we use play action, the middle of the field will be WIDE open. Their QB will have very little time to find his receivers. If they get behind like they have been in their previous games, get the shovels out. And allow me to say this: our opponent was 1 penalty away from reaching the Championship game last year. There is a ton of pressure on that team. The media is drooling over that team and it's QB. On the other hand, the Niners weren't expected to do much of anything (3-13)! And even when we were 8-0, still no respect. Now, we are standing in the tunnel of a stadium in Miami prepared to play in the Championship Game and The San Francisco 49ers are still not expected to do what they have been doing all year: kick butt and take names! And I do believe, as I have heard for many years, offense scores points, defense wins championships!!!

We have more money LOL. Not to sound like a douche but we can afford it. Just living in CA houses cost what a mill and up? Average home cost there is like 50-100k. They're good fans I just don't think It's wise to spend a months salary on the super bowl.

We may never get another shot at the Super Bowl during the "Garapollo/Shannahan' era. I remember how good the 49ers were when Steve Young took over, and he only got to the big dance once. Same with that awesome defense we build up during the Harbaugh era, only got there once.

What held that team back were the bad Seifert drafts (when compared to Bill's drafts) that sunk the latter part of the dynasty. That forced the organization to go into free agency and get aging pass rushers for our defense, and ultimately got us into cap hell.

Kyle has both Jimmy and Bosa on long term deals. That's your dynasty foundation right there. Kyle has designed an offense around Jimmy, and now he has to do one on defense for Bosa.

Defensively it's not bad for Bosa right now, (with Ford there) but as he gets more comfortable in dropping into coverage, he will need a 4 down pass rusher on the other side (doesnt have to be an elite pass rusher like him) but good enough to rush the passer when Bosa drops back in pass coverage.

Now you can rotate the defense based on what Bosa reads and anticipates and does as he matures and figures out what the offenses are going to do. Haley was a master at sniffing out screens and draws, which is how you neutralize great pass rushers. Bosa isnt at Haleys mental level yet, but Bosa in coverage knocking down a a pass in the 2020 playoffs is just the beginning.

These numbers spell it out pretty nicely. We run it down their throat and we will push them out into the parking lot. Their run defense sucks.

I hate to quote Troy Aikman, but I loved what he said last Sunday....Take their manhood.

Playing Devil's Advocate, if their run defense sucks, how come they were able to stop Travis Henry even after they fell into an early hole on the scoreboard. I would have expected that if any team could squeeze someone to death with a lead it would be the Titans pounding Travis Henry. Maybe the Chielfs play bruisers better than speed backs like we have.

It was easy to find the hole Henry was running to (predictable run game) plus I think the Titans gave up on run way too much. I think jonnydel mentioned they only ran it 3 times in 2nd half.

oops yeah, just finished reading through!
