His head is clearly not in the game. That drop he had on 3rd down on the first drive was right after I saw him coming into the game and said to my wife "man Goodwin has sucked this year, I'd rather see him on the bench here"

no one ever questioned how hard those two worked. nice deflection , no one questioned their work ethic. they were never in any coaches dog house.. they never tweeted stupid s**t. nice deflection.

cc is stunned about those two guys in a good way. they have at least taken advantage of a chance. what has pettis and goodwin done esp monday when they had a HUGE CHANCE

The point you're missing is those guys went 4-5 years without showing much to get people excited and are having career years right now. Something they'd be doing with another team potentially if the front office listened to us and let them go.

Pettis has shown plenty last year. He showed glimpses this year but definitely has been super disappointing. Cutting him right now doesn't make sense but you're correct and as Kyle noted, he's not taking advantage of his opportunities and you only get so many. He's lucky nobody else has stolen the job from him. If Hurd gets healthy that may happen with Sanders, Deebo and Hurd getting playing time over him.

Goodwin to me is gone. He's got too much on his mind to help and his baby hands don't help.

Pettis has to find a way to get on the same page CONSISTENTLY with Jimmy. If that means finding extra time to work with Jimmy or whatever.

I think he gets this offseason to show if he's got it. If the team doesn't see him work his butt off and not show what they expect to see in camp I think he gets moved before next season.

Regardless of whether Emmanuel or Kittle will be available to play for the team on Sunday afternoon its quite obvious that this game is a must win now. The offense, specifically the passing game is in dire need of a bounce back game after last weeks s**tshow. The defense will keep doing its thing and contain Kyler Murray as best as they can.

We're already aware of AZs defensive gameplan, shutdown the run and play man coverage. 2 weeks ago they swapped back and forth between zone and man and Jimmy and the receivers will have to make them pay for it again this week as well. Please God let Kittle and Sanders play

To a certain point yes you're correct. Flip side is this front office showed up when AA and Ward were in their 2nd/3rd season here. Pettis still has time to get it together though he does have to show consistency and the work ethic to keep coaches patient with him.
