To a certain point yes you're correct. Flip side is this front office showed up when AA and Ward were in their 2nd/3rd season here. Pettis still has time to get it together though he does have to show consistency and the work ethic to keep coaches patient with him.

kyle is no longer patient with pettis. and he should not be. to me we have seen what pettis and goodwin can do or not do. what more do you want.. monday when sanders left. they had a GOLDEN chance to take advantage of that.. no they were out played by a rookie. what more... oh never f**king mind .. not mad at you bud

Not gonna work. They're selling out to stop the run and everyone knows it. Its gonna be up to the passing game. The receivers are gonna have to get open, catch the ball, and Jimmy will have to deliver.

its their ability to run the ball that concerns me and a mobile qb who can keep plays alive. yes in ot that was the only thing semi working was passes to the backs. but i suppose you can only go to that well so often

I'm most disappointed in Pettis. Bourne has done well for an UDFA. A 2nd round pick needs to step up in big games, dude disappeared Monday night.

I don't think it's going to be, but I think it's going to be a very tough game to be sure. Jimmy needs better pass protection than he had against Seattle to be certain, this will be a big factor in the game. No need to be a debbie downer after one loss..have a little faith in the team that's been built.

I am holding onto the hope that Sanders will play, I saw a video report that his rib injury is similar to Kittle's last year, so he could be available for Sunday's game.

Coleman becomes jimmy favorite target soon enough. Those two will start to build alot of chemistry

I'd like to see him on some wheel routes out of the backfield on Sunday afternoon. He's more than fast enough to beat any of their linebackers in coverage and he's a great route runner.

And that's why it's so confusing than Shanahan hasnt used Coleman in the passing game. On that last drive against the seahawks in regulation. He got the best of the linebacker everytime
