Really, he did? Because I watched that game and didn't think he helped their D or their rushing D at all. They also gave up like 34 points to the Packers.
Sue didn't even show up on the stat sheet. No sacks, no hits and no tackles. Packers also averaged 5.0 YPC.

And to top it off, there were multiple reports saying we did purse and Suh said himself that it was down between eagles and niners. Dude went 0 for 2 in his post.

Yea, Eagles have big issues on defense. They've beat up on a lot of crappy teams this year. On offense they're relying so much on Jalen Hurts' running ability. They have run that QB draw like 20 times in the last 2 weeks (no exaggeration). They should have lost to the Colts if not for terrible RZ playcalling as well.
Eagles are good, but I think the Cowboys and 49ers are both better than them.

There are reasons other teams didn't go sign him.
He'll still get a good play here and there but not many.

even if both play, they will be rusty and not up to game speed.
That's fine.

I'm just hoping everyone stays healthy after this game. Even if the Niners lose to the Dolphins it is not the end of the season. Going 6-0 from here on out is unlikely so a 4-2 to end would be awesome. Lose to the MIA, get the wins against TB, SEA, WSH, then split the last two. The Niners will be guchi.

"Suh was on the field for 17 snaps, and he had a transformative effect on the Colts' passing game. Not only did he share the aforementioned sack with Joseph, but the Colts realized — as they did with Joseph — that they'd better put some doubles on him. This led to Milton Williams' sack with 1:25 left in the third quarter. With Kelly and right guard Will Fries on Suh (No. 74), everyone else had room to eat.
So, Suh's place on the line was just as much a factor as Joseph's albeit in different ways. He had nine snaps in run defense, and when he was on the field, the Colts' yards per attempt fell from 4.5 yards per carry to 3.2. Yards after contact per play fell from 3.6 to 1.9, and the blown tackle rate fell from 14.3% to 12.5%."
LOL. Do your homework.

Except you're talking about 2 different games. Lol, keep changing the game to "prove" your point. Anyway Suh chose not to come to the 49ers.

When Bosa gets chipped, the DL doesn't seem to be very consistent in getting pressure. Last season's pass rush with Bosa-Armstead-Key-Ebukam was so much better. Omenihu is solid, not spectacular as a pass rusher. Turay, I thought would be an excellent signing, has been a dud. Hopefully Ebukam gets over his injury and starts to produce. Teams are taking away Bosa and no one else has stepped up.

Yep. Ebukam came out the gate on fire, but hasn't been the same since the injuries. Hopefully, AA can comeback and get things rolling.
Arden Key was incredible rushing inside last year. The 49ers aren't getting much from inside this season.

I remember last year, for whatever reason, the defensive line, as a whole, just started coming more and more alive in the second half of the season. It was crazy to see, because it didn't seem like they were doing anything different, except playing with so much more ferocity and physicality than offensive lines could handle.
The only thing that I could think of was that they were much fresher in the trenches than other teams because of the depth & rotation of defensive linemen we have.
I wonder if we'll see the same again this year.

I think there were two things that played a role in last season's pass rush getting stronger towards the second half of the season. One was Key finding his niche as nickel DT, and excelling at it. The other was Ebukam getting better as the season progressed. Bosa and Armstead were doing their thing all season long.

I noticed the same thing about the chip on Bosa. I think we are getting pressure but it's not as dominant of a D line as it was during 2019 and during the second half of 2021. I'm hopeful that getting AA back makes a difference and Omenihu can go back to playing more DE than DT.

Agreed. They definitely need somebody to step it up to help out Bosa.
