Competition has been pretty weak. And without rotating in with the starters these guys will start looking like back ups.

Fuuuuck

I fear what our DL will look like without Bosa and Ebukam.

Well, we know what it looks like without Kinlaw and AA inside...only 54 yards for CMC.

Time for Jackson, Turray and Hyder to step up with Charles Omenihu inside on 3rd downs. Ridgeway, Spence & Givens can hold it down inside.

We'll be alright.

PS: Ebukam is just sore from the turf, per report. Nothing serious.

The only positive is that we signed TY McGill who wrecked us in the preseason. Solid pickup.

They've got this #10a12 thing for the DL down to a science!

Ah, that's great to hear about Ebukam.

I'm not worried about the run defense, but the pass rush could become anemic without those 2. I don't think people realize how good Ebukam is playing right now. The dude is playing at a very high level.

Reading from Shanny's comments from yesterday and it sounds like AA gonna land on IR at some point. Seems like Kinlaw might be ready. Folks gonna be upset when they draft IDL with there 1st draft pick.

Is he any relation to Jimmy McGill?

Well, actually that is kind of serious. Or well, more irritating that yet again fake grass causes issues like this. Hopefully indeed though just a week to week thing, if even that.

Turf this weekend too.
Welp, my biggest concern coming into the season is manifesting with the IDL run defense.

Because you're so wise

It doesn't require much wisdom to realize how thin we were up the middle. It was brought up multiple times by other individuals as well(WB).

And here I thought we could get by just fine with our depth esp. given we only gave up 54 yards to CMC just last weekend.

Damn...Falcons OL was moving the entire LOS 3 yards on every single snap.

Do we still have too much invested in defensive line depth?

Missing Bosa, Armstead, Kinlaw is not helping the run stop and pass rush. They better get those guys back ASAP and or pick up Suh.

Good video by Lombardi. He's right. The run defense was terrible and kept the Falcons in manageable situations, which presented limited opportunities to tee off with the pass rush.

It could get worse if teams moving forward realize how vulnerable we are up the middle. A few of the guys we have inside like Hyder and Givens are going to wear down real fast if we continue to rely on them.
