Our pass rush on paper looks sad af
James Thompson was a hell of an UDFA signing. This guy is going to make the 53. He's been balling from the moment he got on the field in Santa Clara. In fact, he's been so good that he should be in the mix for the base nose job...

It might be tough to sneak Thompson past waivers.
We'll see if Thompson is more than another fan favorite (valdez) was last year. People swore we'd regret if he wasn't on the 53, but not only did that not happen, he easily made it to practice squad, has never been claimed, and hasn't really progressed to a guaranteed 53, let alone something more

Not saying Thompson is the same but it's preseason. He's doing what he is supposed to do for sure but who knows if it's enough

Thompson's tape is much better than Valdez's. He's been out there playing with the starters and doing very well. Thompson's measurables are also way more impressive than Valdez. Thompson is legitimately a massive man that can move.

I was never a big fan of Valdez. He's a solid JAG in my eyes.

Thompson has looked better than Valdez and 2024 preseason fan favorite Evan Anderson. With the way Collins health has been, Thompson should stick and be in rotation on game days.

It has also been said that, in practice, Thompson hasn't really lost a rep. "He just keeps winning." I think it was Dieter.

Thompson was taking reps with the 1s. I think he made the team.
This group has to be thee force.

I don't care what they have to do just keep them healthy and on the field!

They'd be stupid to cut him but this is the same regime who cut DJ Reed and thought they could sneak him on the PS so who knows and it wouldn't surprise me. If Collins makes it over him it's strictly because of him being drafted as high as he was; I see ZERO improvement from him and that was a very low bar to improve on from his play last year.
If he's the best man for the job then he needs to start
Has CJ been hurt? Thompson is a keeper
In addition to Thompson, Eason has also looked good and made an impact. Good UDFA pickups for the DL. Eason gets some good push inside and seems pretty quick/agile for his size. If Thompson makes it on the 53, hoping Eason can sneak onto the PS.

The edge group was already thin, and now, Height is hurt...an ankle injury is already rough for anyone, but on a speed rusher it's a a potentially crippling injury...FML

Bosa is ?; Mykel will be PUP; Height has an ankle injury…this is disastrous.

It'll be a high ankle sprain that lingers all season
Well he has about 2 weeks to get that ankle ready.
