OL got one, lets show the other big uglies some love. A couple good performances from some of our back ups. I think Day is a solid DT rotation player, then with Sully, AA, Taylor, DJ, i think the interior looks good playing alongside Buckner. The DEs looks like the biggest issue, the backs up at least. They looked terrible against Cowboys 1st team OL. Hopefully we dont stay in house and pick up a rotational pass rusher who can do some damage. Valoaga looked pretty good against back ups, but any decent pass rusher can dominate 3rd string OL.

His pure strength is pretty crazy. And tape doesn't lie, hes been one of the best dtackles on the team on tape this preseason. At the very least he should make the 53. And in the near future, Im kinda interested in seeing what a Mykel-Thompson-Osa-Bosa front could potentially do

Agreed. It would be a massive mistake to lose him to another team and keep Alfred Collins because of Collins draft position.

In fact, I'd keep both James Thompson and Bryson Eason over Collins. But I still think Osa and West start in base D.

Maybe we can get a good guard in a trade for Collins?

Collins was a raw prospect from the jump. He needs a lot of work but what you can't teach is his size & athleticism for how big he is. There are plenty of teams I'm sure that will think they can maximize his potential. The question is what value can we get in return. If we can get a similar young player that isn't quite panning out so far at G, DE or S, I think you have to make that trade. Not to mention he's on a rookie contract for another 3 years.
