How about Option 4, "All of the above".

-The O with Jimmy back and him having more knowledge of the playbook, what Kyle's trying to do week by week, along with all the added weapons.

-The D with the new scheme tweaks, new coaches, and the added talent at all three levels...really looking forward to seeing a much-improved pass rush, athletic/playmaking LBs, and more impact from the CB & S positions (need guys to stay healthy).

-The ST with a punter that can consistently flip the field, pin teams inside the 10, maybe run the occasional fake (been awhile since the Niners have tried that)...seeing Gould continue to be one of the most reliable FG kickers (yet hopefully the team really improves in the Red Zone to result in many more TDs).

No two ways about it, The D.

Anyone who didn't listen to the Joe woods interview and the Kocurek interview, you should. Very enlightening. You can tell what you are going to see on the DL, and same for the DBs. You just have to feel good about the D this yr. Warner you know, but Kwon will be fun to see.

With JimmyG, it all boils down to HEALTH. If ok, you know what to expect. But with Kittle, Brieda, Coleman, (Maybe jet), Toilolo ,(and i bet Kaden), Au Jus, and deeBo and Hurd, you have to know what we will be seeing on O with the best , brainiest, zaniest OC in the league....it will be yr when during the game you don't want to leave your seat to use the bathroom. Just too much you can miss in the meantime.

But as white hot as the O will be, still, it is the D that i can't wait for. On O i know what to expect....brilliance. On D, it will be a pleasant surprise.

All of it, hopefully all of it injury free and meeting expectations for once

Nothing better than an exciting offense, but for this team this year especially, the defense will determine whether it's a playoff team or not. That's why I picked the defense.

In order...defense(how good=playoffs/not)

Special teams(need more fakes/pin teams deep)

Offense(new weapons/wrinkles=dynamic)(most confidence with coach)

Ofcourse health will play the biggest part, we'll see

Defense but specifically the pass rush and linebackers.

Definitely Defense......I can't wait to see our D-line absolutely destroy opposing O-lines as they constantly pressure and sack the QB's. I think Solly is even going to be great with this supporting cast if he stays on the inside. REALLY hope we can resign Buckner to keep this line intact for a long while.

Watch out NFC West QB's......you are in for a BAD year, and that means you Willow !!!

Defense. The possibility of moving up to a top ten or better overall defense is there. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about our offense, but last year's defense is still on my mind for sure. The offense under Kyle will click this year. If the defense starts getting some sacks and interceptions... We could be a better team than most belive. I wasn't full of high expectations last year like some were, but if our defense shines.. Those expectations could be met this year.
