Yea that be nice. Would you be comfortable with Saleh going into games with the plan of having Nick play 87 percent of snaps though?

Definitely not, at least not right away. Just being the devils advocate, and a bit of a dick lol

I think Shanahan doesn't want to see Bosa playing in the pre season so he has him faking an injury.

Shanny clearly doesn't believe in risking these guys in the pre season.

I have no proof, but I think this is a brilliant move. We just lost our back up tackle for no reason at all!

Shanahan does not need to have him fake an injury to sit him. He sat tons of players last night who aren't injured. He can sit whoever he wants.

He didn't sit too many rookies last night, did he?

They are the type that need the action. This is a really dumb take. If Shanahan didnt want to use him in preseason then he wouldnt. Not using a rookie is extremely dumb and unprecendented. He certainly wouldnt fake an injury and get an MRI for no reason. I'd drop this argument.

It is actually dumb to believe everything you read.

Did you see the lineman fall on his leg? Were you there for the MRI?

It's on the internet so it must be true...

This is a silly argument. He's not practicing either and reporters are on hand. Is it wise to have a rookie not practice?

Maybe reporters aren't on hand for all, the question would still pretty much be the same. Would it be wise to hold a rookie out of a lot (most?) practices if he wasn't hurt?

That's a nice tin foil hat you got.

I trust Barrows, Maoicco and the others who saw it.
I don't doubt that he has some kind of injury. It is the lack of information on when he will be able to play that concerns me.
I wonder what the Vegas over / under is for how many games he plays in this year.

I think I read somewhere they didn't want and DL playing over 70% of the snaps...

I think it's still a good idea not to play Bosa, healthy or not. Same with Ford. That's a high stress position and you'd want both guys as healthy as possible going into the season.

What are you saving them for, Giedi?

The games that matter lol?

Ditto

One other thing is that you can get your other edge rushers (and even some of the DT's) some edge rusher experience. Or at least some experience playing edge in the wide 9. But all you have to do is just look at what happened in 1982 (after Walsh won in 1981) when we lost our only edge rusher in Fred Dean. That, I think, was Walsh's only losing season.

Wasn't the point.

Also, the OL is missing out on the opportunity to practice against blue ribbon pass rushers.
Would
Like to see one series at the most. Just so he gets a feel for the big stage but I don't think he needs it because I heard he's the best player on the team already.
