I've given this a lot of thought and I think this game is indeed a moral victory for the 49ers. The defense messed up at the end but it was because their 3rd string safety got beat for the TD so that's okay. They kept it close (entertaining) for the entire 4 quarters, on the road, in a very hostile environment. I now have them at 7-1 in the moral standings with the only loss vs LAR.

This iMO was the worst defeat this year... our defense allowed a freakin rookie QB march down the field and was able to find the correct match up against us... not only is he a rookie, his OC was also NEW to the game. ..
this is bad is is very very bad..

These 2 losses to Arizona are the only losses that really bother me. The other ones were to teams that are better than us. The last minute drive by AAron Rodgers hurt but that's what Rogers does. The Rams and KC are both really good and could end up facing each other in the SB. But losing twice to a team that on paper is at least as bad and probably worse sucks.
