I really find it laughable that people are still doom and gloom on this forum. They took the Packers, a team that we were 10 point or more under dogs to, all the way to the last seconds of the game. I was really surprised with the way CJ, Mostert, and Thomas played, as well as others.
I saw a lot to be excited about and they definitely looked better than they have in the last 4 seasons. They just need to get healthier and add some more talent/depth to the team. We are headed in the right direction.
Moral victories
No thanks, I'm over those
This is year 2 of a total rebuild. I don't know what to tell you other than get used to it until the team starts learning how to finish games and win. There are a lot of young players on this team that are playing due to injuries. Nothing we can do as fans other than sit back and just watch and accept it for what it is. We controlled the game for over 70% of the game and "moral victory" or not, I'll take it for now.
I feel you, just tired of losing winnable games
For sure, it sucks to lose. Would you rather, they get blown out like everyone said they would, or play a game like they did? I personally enjoy seeing them playing competitively instead of incompetently. I think both suck when we lose though.
