I've been a 49ers fan since 1992. There are several people on this site who I enjoy reading their opinions. But the overwhelming majority of 49er fans on this site love to play the doom and gloom role and its exhausting. It's preseason and people are already giving up hope.

But I'm still grumpy af that they traded away the Kamara pick last year and then spent two offseasons trying convince themselves Joe Williams can play in this league. All they had to do was draft kamara last year and then draft a bigger back this year and we'd be set up, and have very little money committed to the position.

legit concerns in my opinion. time to pull the plug on williams and admit you made a mistake. we sure can not draft running backs for crap overall

My main concern is the obvious DE position. My other concerns are CB depth, the TE position in general, and the RBs. Outside of an older Morris I don't have much confidence in any of our RBs.

if mckinnon holds up... we need morris to get the hard yards and finish games off in my opinion., williams is a bust

People are forgetting that this team was abysmal the last few years. Jimmy G masked a lot of that last year when he started to play, but this roster still has several holes before they can be consistently compete.

I don't start fretting until I've seen real games. That's why I f**king hate preseason. Outside of the risk of injuries, it also gives this snap shot of something close to football but not really football. Hell, look at 2011 if you based everything on preseason we looked like 2 win team destined to be in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Now look at that team after 4 games, it was pretty apparent something special was going on.

I think DE is most concerning. It seems our guys are getting there but cant finish the pressure up with a sack. Solo had some good moves but terrible vision to the QB once he got into the pocket.

CB depth could also be a scary thing too. Ward and Moore, who look to be the primary backups, both been giving up big plays this preseason. I still have faith that Moore will become better throughout the season like Witherspoon last season. But Ward is trash. I think Maybin might surprise this year too. He played solid last year when thrown into the lineup as a UDFA.

I see a big year for Kittle! think we will be ok there

With Morris, i think our RB situation got alot better. also i think the blocking had alot to do with our lackluster run game in the first two games. With Garnett in the lineup, holes blew open. So i really hope that chargers play their 1's because they have a great defense. I want to see our line opens up holes against them.

IMO, the improved play of Richbourg and Garnett made a huge difference.
