Why does he sounds like a golf announcer doing football to me. Knowledgeable, but at times his monotone voice make it seemed like he's rambling

I dont live in the market so im a bit confused, does papa commentate on the radio or is he commentating on the bay area local channel?

Primary role is local radio play by play. He was only doing the local telecast for the preseason games.
