terrible news. this guy is essential listening during the mid day on papa and silver. good guy and he actually knows the game inside and out. i wish him the best and hope he's back soon

His knowledge is nuts.....goes back so far.
It's something I've noticed with some play by play announcers. Some of them have a insane memory banks.
So yeah, although I didn't always agree with some stuff he has pushed in the past, I've always loved hearing Papa talk about the past. 9er fans, and hell sport fans, would be missing one hell of a daily knowledgable contributer to their hobby.

I like Guy a lot. Good Choice. The only issue I see is he calls a spade a spade in regards to this team, the good and the bad. He is going to have to button up any negative comments in this role. Cotton Candy for all..
