49ers were in TB redzone twice today. They scored a TD on one and only entered the red zone on the other after a 2nd and 20 so only had one shot on 3rd and 6 inside the redzone and got a FG from it after an incomplete pass on the 3rd down.

Missing QB1, TE1, WR1, WR2 and the starting LG.

I don't blame him for the injuries.

But this would be alot easier to swallow if they had not blown those Super Bowls. They collapsed in both.

And now we are stuck with an aging roster who is mostly injured. I don't think this team is one offseason away from getting back to SB contention.

Yet on pace for 1300 yards receiving. How is that not valuable?

He gets hit in the hole far more than any other back.

Not sure he's got any more probowl seasons left as a rusher but he has a unique skill set as a receiver that could allow him to extend his career successfully.

Thing is it's not like Robinson has been doing much better as a runner. We have a major issue on the interior of the line and no Kittle isn't helping either.

Colby is in over his head and I think Puni is dealing with the knee injury from preseason cuz he has looked like a far cry from the guy we saw last year.

4.0 YPC from Robinson this season

On way less attempts so his longer runs skew the per carry stats. Has he looked that much better to you?

Its been a struggle regardless of who was running it.

Luckily they seems to have done a good job the last two years
Their Oline gets demolished by good teams. They need to replace both OT's + center + LG

Plus they need another WR, TE, DB

Plus Baker mayfield looks better than Purdy ever has.

What does Mayfield have to do with the 49ers? He was a first overall pick for a reason. Clearly playing his best football but Purdy and him have nothing to do with each other.

Also our OTs weren't the issue.

To be honest running the ball he and CMC haven't had any impact but at least Robinson is keeping track with his career avg.

Team is 4-2 with some insanely impactful injuries. It's hard to project the future but the team is still 4-2 and just lost to a 5-1 team and a 4-2 team.

I don't know how the rest of the year will go since losing Fred is going to make the defense a shell of what it was with him out there but assuming those guys are back for next season a couple of key signings in FA and good draft picks and I don't see why the team can't be back in the hunt.

At minimum the young guys this year will get a trial by fire out there. If we can retain Salah it may not be a huge undertaking.

Brother we are 18th in the league in red zone offense since shanny took over, that's his entire tenure. We've been 1 and we've been 32 in that time still we rank 18th with 54% success rate (Touchdown). You can say I'm over reacting but the numbers don't lie he is middle of the pack when it comes to red zone every team has injuries we aren't alone.
What I don't understand is that call on 3rd & 1 when he called a QB-sneak.....when Brendel had f**king Vita Vea in front of him. Obviously Mac got stuffed in the LOS. Then Puni went full retard with his false start and on 4th & 6 Mac didn't see that Tonges was wide open for an easy catch.

It was a collection of mistakes by the offense but everything started with that stupid QB-sneak.

When you have inconsistency at the most important position the majority of that tenure you will have that.

Exactly.

Also the "every team has injuries"

show me another team missing what we are on offense?

We ran a QB sneak with Vita Vea and picked up the down no problem.

And imo it started with MVS not holding onto the ball on 3rd down when he landed out of bounds.

How many QB-sneaks you can run with Vita in front of Brendel?

You got one. That should be enough. We don't have a good center to run that play several times with Vita there.

Shanny / Foerster thought this oline / Brenda was VERY GOOD
Time for Kyle to go.

He is never going to win a SB.

^^Facts.

Kittle, Juice, Trent Williams, CMC and now Fred with this injury are all past that window.
Kyle has had arguably the most talented roster possible at times and he still couldn't overcome his own stubbornness and mistakes.

His personal grudges with players and refusal to change his approach have done nothing except cost this franchise opportunities and (at least) 2 championships.

He's great at times but then he's equally bad at other times, but worst of all, he just won't stop making the same mistakes that have plagued his career.

Not sure what the right answer is but something within this organization has to change if they're ever going to win another championship.
