49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

THere is a hex on this team.
hearst injury
kyle williams fumbles
bowman injury
redzone vs ravens playcalling
jimmy g acl
the 3rd down mahommes play
bosa acl
lance ankle
tartt drop
purdy ucl
greenlaw achilies
mccaffrey calf
aiyuk acl
purdy toe
pearsal knee
kittle hamstring
bosa acl again
warner ankle

Its absolutely incredible.

My jaw dropped seeing you post that.

Shanahan has his flaws. But this season he's been as good as you can ask for honestly. Very few things you can honestly complain about.

Bosa and Warner injuries were just complete terrible luck. 0 to do with training, conditioning and certainly nothing to do with coaching unless you're going to complain about them being on the field…

The 49ers have had a masterful job from their coaches but their hands will be extra full now without Fred. That's two all pro level vets gone in a defense filled with youth and inexperience.

Kyle was on his way to be the Coach of the year; He had us 4-1 with Mac Jones and WRs who were role guys at best. Freak injury to Fred, Bosa ACL, and with all of that we were still in it midway through the 4th. How anyone could pin this on him is crazy

Yeah it is nuts....

What Kyle is doing with other peoples second hand left overs is nuts.... and it's not even CMC carrying these dudes... CMC and Trent the two highest payed remaining players left that can get on the field look totally pedestrian and replaceable .... Shanny has really stepped up

McCaffrey looks anything but pedestrian. On pace for 1300 yds receiving,

3rd in carries but 23rd in yards. Only one rushing TD on the season after 6 games. His 3.1ypc is pretty pedestrian

Yet on pace for 1300 yards receiving. How is that not valuable?

He gets hit in the hole far more than any other back.

Not sure he's got any more probowl seasons left as a rusher but he has a unique skill set as a receiver that could allow him to extend his career successfully.

Yeah, OL is opening up a ton of running lanes . Another one who should just give it a rest.

Thing is it's not like Robinson has been doing much better as a runner. We have a major issue on the interior of the line and no Kittle isn't helping either.

Colby is in over his head and I think Puni is dealing with the knee injury from preseason cuz he has looked like a far cry from the guy we saw last year.

4.0 YPC from Robinson this season
Offensive genius*

*except for when in the red zone

In that aspect yeah he is pedestrian. Honestly I wish he would just transition to receiver. He's clearly much more effective catching the ball

He struggles when he can't stretch the field. Gets tight inside the 20s, and it doesn't help that our run game is non existent.

He needs much more carries going forward
49ers are paying the price for years of bad drafting on the oline.
Luckily they seems to have done a good job the last two years
Their Oline gets demolished by good teams. They need to replace both OT's + center + LG

Plus they need another WR, TE, DB

Plus Baker mayfield looks better than Purdy ever has.
