He doesn't want to be here, cant run the system, had been getting worse year by year and is the last emblem of the tragedy that is the last 4 years and yet people still want him back?
philly said nothing wrong here. you can not justify his return in no way shape or form in my opinion

Yeah, I think we're all sick of hearing about Kap.

I can't for the life of me see why we would be more interested in Taylor over Kap. Kap is a much more accomplished player. Bigger stronger , as fast. THey both are about the same in accuracy. I have no desire to have tyrod Taylor over Kap

No, not really
Not impressed with either of them. If we can't get Cousins (swapping 1sts) or Jimmy G by giving up a 2nd, just get Hoyer and look to address the position later in the draft, or possibly next season.

This.

God forbid he say something bad about the Niners once he's gone. Then the whole public circus will start over again.

I'm sure the same 5 fans in here will be closely monitoring his stats IF he gets a starter job elsewhere and bring them into every QB thread. But only when he has a good game, of course.

THANK YOU!!!

This is the fundamental issue fans are forgetting. Kyle is trying to lay down the foundation of the WCO here. There are 24+ other offensive players that need to learn it. Kyle is not going to change the entire offense and dumb it down to accommodate athletic/spread/air raid QB's like Kaepernick, RGIII, Tyrod Taylor, etc.

Even if we get a crappy veteran QB, it'll be fine...we aren't expecting many W's anyhow but what's essential this year, is laying the foundation down. So he's got to find someone who's already familiar with the offense, the terminology, the ins/outs of being a QB within it, etc.

Who that is is obviously, up to debate.

Come on guys, let's not fall for the agent/team obfuscation.

Exactly. So many "sources" out there right now, pinning for jobs, $, etc. I never bought the 49ers being interested in Tyrod for a second...but stranger things have happened; esp. when you have zero QB's on the roster. LOL

Looking at previous contracts etc, I think if we sign a veteran with the intention for him being a starter, we are going to have to pay $12 - 15 million. The exception may be someone like Schaub, but Glennon, Taylor, Hoyer etc are going to be looking for starter bucks.

Hoyer got paid 5 mill last year. What did he do last year to deserve a 250% raise? He'll get a RG3 type contract.

Was watching NFL Network the other day showing "Top 10 Busts." If I remember correctly, one was a QB that:
1. The team had to dumb-down the offensive plays.
2. If the 1st receiver wasn't open, just run it.
3. Couldn't throw to his left, so they pretty much just doubled up on the right side receiver.
4. Once the opponents figured him out, he was not a threat.

Reminded me A LOT of Kap. I think it was Rick Mirer.

and they will be more than happy to point out that we are all a bunch of racists if we dare say a cross word about the former quarterback.

Yeah, it was Mirer. The guy who Bill Walsh cursed by calling him "the next Joe Montana."

Kaepernick is a backup QB, borderline starter. So was Rick Mirer.

Kaep is not bust like a Gabbert or worse, Drukenmiller. He won games and was effective.
