typical., you disagree and you are slapped with a label. i was not a fan of ali in his early days but only cuz i liked george foreman and joe frazier better. they were black men so pretty sure i am not racist but people like you and others know better about that... oh in regards to football, he is a terrible quarterback who never could learn and adapt to what the defenses were doing to him. the list of reasons why i hate ck are the same personally as they are for his football performance. i am an equal opportunity hater in regards to ck

The verbiage will be different but the play understanding is similar. Hell, Shanahan ran quite a few of the same plays we ran with Harbaugh. Also, Shanahan will Taylor the offense to the QB as he said in his presser.

I really don't get this. Shanahan and Harbaugh ran the same offense? Tomsula ran the Shanahan system? That's just really not true at all and you are reaching so far that you teeter on the edge of the credibility abyss.

I'd rather deal through the rookies ups n downs than have the sellout who admitted he wasn't focused on football, and whose GF heavily influences him (basically wears the pants).

I also don't want to see Cutty. Hoyer would be a cheap bridge and that's fine with me.

Wtf? This post literally makes no sense. Lay off the hyperbole and stick with football. ANYONE who thinks Hoyer would be better than Kaep isn't talking in football terms and should stop posting in the QB thread.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions whether you agree or not. We are here to debate and discuss not to attack ANYONE who don't share your opinion.

True, but at the same time we're not here to read about someone thinking someone is a 'sellout' either. The talk should be ONLY about QB skills and performance since that's the thread.

Personal non-football bias much?

probably did only cuz it looks politically correct. probably thought it would help their public relations and image. can not wait for ck to be gone so veterans like staley can tell us what they really thought of him

Wtf are you talking about. Read what I wrote again. I used the words similar` and `familiar` which are BOTH true. The fact that you didn't comprehend or didn't watch what Atlanta ran is on you.

eh....they are claiming they won't deal but they still want Gold for their silver....Pats too.

Reminds me when we wouldn't trade Kap and ended up letting him hit the FA market for nothing in return. not the same situation, but similar.
not even similar

Denver wanted us to pay them to trade Kaep

Pretty similar. 5 mil for a mid round pick sounds good to me (not my money lols). But there was a trade offer, and we ended up getting nothing.

My hope: wash realizes how fukked they are and deals Cousins for cheap.

My hunch: wash, like Baalke last year, will let ego get in the way. (This isn't necessarily bad for us; maybe we get cousins next yr, who knows).
There was no trade offer. They wanted Kap to sign a new contract, he didn't, they never made us the offer.

Broncos and 49ers agreed on a trade but it depended on Kaep redoing his contract which he refused with Denver

So in effect there was no opportunity for us to trade him. It wasn't because the 49ers refused a trade. That is revisionist history.

Thanks for reminding us of what happened, Mojave, not what a few fans still think.

I'm mostly relieved Kap is gone since there was just too much of a media circus and it wasn't nearly worth his current production level (or contract cost for that matter).

With that said, I agree 100% with you here RTFirefly. The people who lick up everything the media tells them in terms of "OMG Kap lost the locker room!!" need to stop believing everything they hear. Someone in the media could say a pig with wings may or may not have been flying in the locker room last week and people would take it as 100% indisputable fact.

I had a media credential for an Arena Football team a couple years ago. That didn't magically mean that everything I had to say and that all the speculations I made were pure gospel.
I don't think there will be any difference in price with Kap and Hoyer. 1 or 2 year deal at 5-6 mil per.

Hoyer has a year under Shanny, Kap has years with the personnel. I think Hoyer is the better idea but I'm not going to complain on what band aid Shanny picks out.

The fact that it Triggered you says more than anything I can reply.

Fact is Kap can't read a defense. He didn't know a blitz was coming until it hit him in the mouth.
Here comes sdaddy(the guy that thinks Kap is better than luck) with his meltdown at Kap criticism
What stage are some folks in right now...judging by some of the posts, perhaps they still can't get out of the 'Denial' stage?

I highlighted and underlined your words for you so you can go back and recall what you said. Even having different verbiage is a huge matter, but you indicate the schemes were similar. OK...you got me! They are both football offenses.

I'm totally in acceptance

Kap is a FA option, albeit poor option considering our new scheme. That is all.

Just some very weird assumptions being thrown around! Harbaugh said he was bringing the WCO back...but it turned out to be more the Schembechler offense. Harbaugh, Tomsula and Kelly all used some ZBS concepts so obviously all the players should understand Shanahan's system with no problem...Ouch, such...odd notions!
