As a poster above said, we need protection and weapons now, and this offense can take off. Invest heavily in the interior. I'm sorry but I'm not sold on Garnett helping whatsoever when he's healthy. I said it before and I'll say it again, the guy reminded me so much of Marcus Martin when I scouted him, it scared me. He was not worth the 1st rounder we took him with, in my opinion. We should look for three new starters on the inside so Kilgore can either move to guard or remain a high quality backup. Because he shouldn't be at center much longer.

Watching him get "bench pressed" by opposing linemen, as another poster put it in another thread, is not enjoyable.

Sign a proven C.. Draft a starting guard then a 3 way battle for the other guard spot between Tomlinson/Garnett/Magnuson.

If staff feels one of those 3 CANT get it done then we gotta sign a veteran guard too. You dont need to be elite at every OL spot. 4 solid starters and one average at G is okay. If not we address the following year.

There are at least a half dozen FA centers this year age 26. There are more at various ages but it seems funny how many are 26 (nine). Not sure any are suited for Shanahan's scheme...but one of them has to be better than Kilgore, who is 29.

And smokes i am in favor of getting 3 bona fide all pros. Draft 2 or 3 good collge kids but don't leave the OL dependent on developing an OG we just draffed. Have that fixed. Solid. Working. Draft for starters who need a couple yrs. And do it routinely....every yr so we get someone from draft who does work out. But don't depend on a college kid for OL. There may be one or two a yr but that has been it. And with ZBS there will be less.

Drafting two or 3? Think thats overkill and me personally i dont wanna close the book on Tomlinson/Garnett/Magnuson. Remember we gave up a 2nd for Jimmy.

If we dont land a big fish at pass rusher/CB/WR you would think those 3 positions along with a guard is gonna be the first 4 picks or should be IMO.
In the 4th round id go WILL to compete with Malcolm Smith but if we sign a FA WILL i can see going OL again in the 4th.
