Realistically who would you like SF to sign/trade for and the cost??

Some names….

Maxx Crosby (trade)
Josh Sweat (trade)
Jessie Bates(trade)
kayvon thibodeaux (trade)
joey Bosa
Joel Bitonio
Kevin Zeitler
Taylor Decker

Jessie Bates, Kayvon Thibodeaux and we are off to the races!!!!

Even though a Kevin Zeitler and Joel Bitonio signing would get me all giggly inside. I'm content with Robert Jones starting.

I posted about this a few pages back. Verse is awesome. He's extremely explosive, violent, relentless as hell, extremely powerful and has an overwhelming bullrush. That said, he's way too reliant on that one move. He's also limited by his stiffness and lack of hand technique. He's going to have to get really good with his hands and improve at softening the corner that way if he's going to step into that next tier of pass rushers where he's a consistent double-digit sack guy. I think it's hard to project if he'll keep getting better or remain as he is, which is totally fine. I'd take Verse all day on the 49ers. He's very Justin Smith-ish as an edge player.

If you really want to do a deep dive on Verse, this dude made a fantastic video on him as a player.

You don't know anything about Robert Jones don't you?

He was absolute hot garbage with Miami......the same system Shanahan runs. Absolute hot garbage. I'd even argue that Burford as bas as he is is better than Robert freaking Jones.

I agree about trading for Jessie Bates tho because I've wanted that guy since he left Cincy.

Nice I'll check it out. No comparing him to Myles that's for sure

Nevada grad here that was at UNR when Bitonio was there (I worked for the equipment staff while going to school there & of all the players on the team, Bitonio was hella cool & one of my favorites to chat with). With Myles on the Rams now really think it would go a long way to shore up that LG spot with Bitonio. He's been a stud his entire career. We really need all the quality OL we can get at this point to offset the Rams DL & for that matter Seattle's DL too.

It's looking like you're the one projecting arguing in bad faith painting me as unreasonable, delusional and not giving Lynch any credit when I have multiple times while you're the one dancing around the facts not acknowledging Lynch's falter. Maybe take your own advice if you're going to talk about the good maybe recognize the bad

Ok

If you want to call it a wrap I'll leave it alone but I'd genuinely like to hear your critique on Lynch if you had any. I've given him both credit and blame.

What is hot garbage about him? I went back and watched him vs Christian Wilkins and he held his ground against him for the most part. He started all 17 games in 2024, if he was hot garbage like you said don't you think he might've been benched during the season?

Monster just likes to throw that word around, I like the saying myself... soon he'll be saying, "pure organic hot garbage"

What player do you think that the Browns would have accepted to trade Garret to the Niners? Because they said Verse was the one they wanted. Bosa is the only edge we have that they'd take, and that would be a sideways move and cost us picks that we will be better off having next year, which is supposed to be a great draft class.

not sure where he gets this, Dieter Kurtenbach says that Jones' tape with Miami is actually quite good, when he wasn't injured. It was good enough that Conor Riley, O-line coach for Dallas, and some say one of the best Oline coaches in the NFL, wanted Jones to start in Dallas, despite signing him with a neck injury.

This fanbase is too busy overreacting to the Garrett trade(I get it...it sucks) but throwing logic out the window isn't the answer. Just makes us look like our nickname.

Reality is since Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch have taken over the team they've been in the same amount of SBs as Snead/McVay. 2.

I certainly understand people pointing to the fact that the Rams actually WON one of them but when we're arguing about which regime is serious about trying to win SBs the logic simply doesn't show the Rams are much better.

Rams really shouldn't have even been in that 2nd SB they won if not for us blowing that game and it's not that we didn't have enough players it's that the players we had couldn't make simple plays or we were missing some guys who would've helped us avoid the mistakes we made late in that game.

It also doesn't account for opponent strength and officiating assistance...

Up to this point Kyle and John had the 49ers in 2 SBs and 2 NFCCGs. Snead/McVay had been in 2 SBs and 1 NFCCG.

So once again...if the conversation is simply about the decision making and roster building to go and win Championships the facts point to the 49ers doing that just as much if not more so than the Rams.

Mykel Williams is the only one and even then it's iffy especially since he just tore his ACL.

Bosa's contract is too big for the Browns to even consider. Half the reason the Browns unloaded Garrett was for cap space.

Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to even a hated opponent. Very nice move by the Rams.

This right there.

Cohn has poisoned too many minds. people just say stuff. (not jabbing Memphis at all) Just in general.

Niners would have had to do 2 1s and maybe a player.
