Everything I said is true, even admitting Lynch pushed for CMC. You're the one just throwing around "you made that up" which I looked up and gave you the facts then proceed to say "you're arguing in bad faith" because you don't have much of a defense for Lynch, fact of the matter is Lynch has a pretty bad track record when it comes to trades.

If you think Kyle didn't have influence on trading for Trent and CMC then I don't know what to tell you. I'm not giving him sole credit either but even by your own "proof" of Lynch looking at Mahomes he ultimately didn't override Kyle then but did for Garoppolo fumbling several top end draft picks in the process. While there are accounts of Mike and Kyle finding Purdy and even saying he was the best QB they had to Jed's face during Treys year and Garoppolo still on the team.

Also looked it up and what do you know…

2020 Trade: After sitting out the 2019 season in Washington, Williams specifically desired a fresh start in an elite scheme. The 49ers were his preferred destination, reuniting him with head coach Kyle Shanahan, who was his offensive coordinator in Washington

This is what's called a bad faith argument.

How? You boasted on how good Lynch is trading but all the evidence/proof I've shown says otherwise. You can give Lynch 100% credit for CMC and it still wouldn't out weigh the negative. I don't hate Lynch but I disagree with your position on him making great trades

I do like the Osa trade, but him and CMC do not out weigh the Garoppolo/Lance blunder along with trading away Buckner. Those are my biggest gripes but not the only mishaps Lynch has made.

I'm sure there will be some caveat as to why lynch shouldn't get credit for it

Browns laugh hanging up at that offer. The 49ers don't have a single young player outside of Brock on the team that would move the needle for the Browns.

This is true and not sure they would even accept Purdy as a Cleveland QB with the weather being what it is. There is no way Lynch could have traded for Garrett.

We weren't in position to get Garrett at this rate and we will be fine. Our three phases vs everyone else's. Offense ST and defense. We will win the West and the Super Bowl this year. I have no doubt

This is the fandom and optimism expected

This is hilariously bad trolling. Browns would happily take Purdy lmao this is the BROWNS we're talking about here.

my only issue with LA making that type of move is you're giving up a young stud DE and 3 good picks for one player. That one player can be toast on any given play. Is what it is.

See, this take I agree with. They've drafted so well recently, too. You'd think they'd want to keep fortifying the roster rather than concentrating their talent in one player.

But make no mistake about Myles Garrett: he is going to f**k s**t up in the NFCW. He finally has a chance to win a ring now. Watch the hell out.

Oh I agree, dude is gonna be motivated to win now for sure. I'd be jumping for joy if we landed him some how…but you gotta be careful allocating all that for one guy in a league like the NFL. The NBA is a different story.

I mean Verse would cost what? A 1st and a 2nd alone? Toss in a 1st in 2027 and the 2nd 3rd the following drafts? Solid capital for the Browns. LA has like 4 big contracts to hand out soon and Stafford year to year. This is the yr for them…after that who knows

Rams go 20-0
Points scored - 3658
Stafford throws for 7329 yards, 83 TDs, 0 INTS
Puka - 321 catches 4843 yards 57 TDs
Adams - 264 catches 3115 yards 42 TDs
K. Williams - 599 carries 3992 yards rushing, 68 TDs

Defense gives up .9 points a game
Sacks - 438 ***if Darnold comes back, 581
Garrett - 259 sacks, 793 TFLs
McDuffie - 219 INTs, 112 returned for TDs

At halftime of the NFC Championship game McVay AND Snead get inducted into the HOF

After the Super Bowl, Goodell renames the Lombardi Trophy to the "McVay/Snead" Trophy

Lots of $#!t can happen throughout a preseason and the season. Rams have played a lot of football the last few years and have for the most part avoided any major injuries that would cause or caused their stars to miss a good part or the entire season. I'm looking forward to not only seeing how our boys stack up against the already crowned Super Bowl champs but the rest of the league as well.

Personally, if the 49ers 2026 draft goes as well as the 49ers 2025 draft, I think we have a good chance to make the playoffs and go deep into it. If we stay healthy and some luck bounces our way (it's bound to after last year) we might even end up close to (if not at) the big dance at the end of the year. Myles is a big catch by the Lambs, but there was a big price to pay to land that bad boy and - I'm hoping Snead loses Sean McVay if the Rams season doesn't turn out the way they think it will turn out.

The 2025 draft was decent, but I wouldn't necessarily say it went well at this point. I don't see a single star/cornerstone player from the class. Obviously, someone can develop into one, but usually you see those early flashes from someone right away. It just seems like a bunch of NFL quality players right now.

The 49ers need a homerun or two in the 2026 class. Another group of NFL quality players isn't going to cut it. We need to start forming that next generation of Niner star players.

Well the 1986 draft and the 2026 draft, kind of feel the same to me - in a sense. Charles Haley looked good as a rookie, sort of like Mykel. It was really in about two years after the draft that Charles really started to dominate. A lot of solid players were drafted in 1986 that were the foundation of almost three super bowl teams. I still remember the heartbreaker loss in the playoffs (1987) to Chris Dolman, but two super bowls came after that.

I hope the 2025 draft and the 2026 draft, together - constitute a core of really great players that (hopefully) turn out to be hall of fame level players in the near future. Kittle didn't look all that much his first year with us either, but by year two - Wow!
Realistically who would you like SF to sign/trade for and the cost??
