Let one of the best blocking TEs in the league in Charlie Woerner go to ATL for 3 years, 12 mil and then the next year we sign Luke Farrell who isn't as good for 3 years and 20 million because we needed a blocking TE.

Absolutely he would have.

When did DeBartolo ever overrule his GM mid-season? When did he have, say, Ronnie Lott and his next top defender (pick one) out for the season before the trade deadline? When did DeBartolo have a salary cap in future years to worry about?

DeBartolo had the luxury to not have to weigh these types of factors.

The thing that bothers me the most about Lynch is that he is so predictable in the first round of drafts. We never take BPA. It's always need and he tries to spin it that that player was also the BPA. Lynch said that his goal was to fix the run defense this offseason so he reached for a defensive lineman with zero pass rush skills in Mykel Williams. We passed on Warren, Barron, Starks and several OL. He did it with Kinlaw too.

EDDIE was a very impatient OWNER.... as great as Bill was, he wanted to get rid of him for not winning another Super Bowl soon enough .. he may not have gotten involved w/all the trades, but one thing's for sure.... Both Shanny and Lynch would have been fired by now...

I would have done what it takes to get Quennin Williams. Hes a game changer and we all know that Lynch will draft a bust at DT in round 1 this year.

I've said I would have pushed for Minkah Fitzpatrick and Bradley Chubb too.

Screw the picks. We were 6-3 with a home Super Bowl and Lynch bends over and gives up on the year.

Not making any moves and trotting out that D we had today is inexcusable.

Kyle and Lynch are probably one of the worst HC/GM combos drafting in the last five years.

Now Shanahan fans are throwing the blame on Lynch. They're a team. They need to both go.
